Here is your from pastor's sermon on Trinity Sunday. When a change happens in your life, you may wonder, “What do I do now?”

"“What do we do now?” We know. Make disciples by baptizing and teaching. And we don’t have to doubt or be afraid doing that. All of our doubts, all of our hesitancies can never drive away the incarnate and omnipresent God from us. Our hesitancies can never negate the blessings of our baptism. The Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—Backs Our Work. He’s going to get the job done through us—bringing souls into his eternal family."

May 31, 3036 Pentecost 1 - Trinity Sunday Matthew 28:16-20 The Trinity Backs Our Work I. With Divine Power II. With a Divine Program III. With a Divine Promise

We believe in the triune God. He is the only true God. The festival of the Holy Trinity is a time to celebrate God revealing himself to us as one God in three persons. The triune God wants his people to teach this mystery in its biblical truth and purity. This festival of the Holy Trinity begins the second half of the Church Year with a proclamation of people being baptized and blessed in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, the only true God.

Our new series “Say it Out Loud” begins Sunday at 9:30AM!

The Season after Pentecost features what Christ teaches, and Christians in every vocation are encouraged to say it out loud. The truths of God’s Word are good for the soul, useful for life, and more reliable than anything else in the world. Watch out for false teachers who come with wise-sounding words and pious promises, but who do not base everything on the Word of God! Give thanks to the Lord for faithful servants in the ministry of the gospel and those who support them!
We invite you to join us for worship as we discover the lessons Christ encourages us to say out loud!

Here is your from Pentecost Sunday. Are you thirsty? You body tells you it needs water. Yet we also thirst for something greater. Whether we recognize it or not, our souls thirst for a relationship with our God who gives us eternal life.

"Since the Day of Pentecost, God’s Holy Spirit has led thirsty souls to Jesus. He’s pointed Jesus out as the promised Messiah and Savior, risen from the dead. The Spirit has entered hearts and worked faith that drinks the refreshment Jesus offers. And the Spirit has turned loose the rivers of living water to flow through believers to countless thirsting souls in every age since. Pentecost reminds us that Jesus keeps his promises. So when life feels empty, dry, stressful, lonely, or exhausting, don’t just keep trying random things to fill the gap. Come to Jesus. Drink deeply from his promises. The living water he gives never runs out."

Pam and John, you will be dearly missed at Holy Scripture! Our hearts are filled with thankfulness to God for you and all the years you have been a part of our family. The Lord will continue to be with you and work through you wherever you go.

When the disciples were distressed about Jesus ascending into heaven, he assured them, “It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you” (John 16:7). That Advocate is the Holy Spirit. If Jesus had stayed in the grave, the Holy Spirit would have had no reason to enter the lives of disciples. But Jesus lives, and it makes a difference. The Spirit provides faith and purpose for life. Pentecost, the celebration of the special arrival of the Holy Spirit, is the third great festival of the Church, along with the Nativity and the Resurrection. Pentecost closes the fifty-day period after Easter and ends the festival half of the church year. The Church dresses in red on this day to commemorate the tongues of fire that marked the Spirit’s gift as well as the blood of the martyrs.

In this week's , we ask "What can I do about worry in my life?"

"“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Simple. Question answered, article done! In reality, it can feel impossible to practice. Thankfully, our victorious Savior overcomes our worries, doubts, and anxieties, allowing us to live confidently for God..."
