Healthy churches create and hold space for repentance, reconciliation, and redeemed life in the love of Jesus Christ that overflows into our relationships with others.

As church leaders and pastors, we must always remember our power is not in the polish, but in the prayer. What we don’t need is more lights, shiny programs, or expertly polished worship and preaching. What we do need is more humility, consecration, and stillness in God’s presence.

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” -Hebrews 4:16

Today was amazing. Thanks to Lifehouse Church and all who joined us for our third annual Awaken Indiana Gathering. What a special blessing to be encouraged by the stories of four Asbury students who were part of the Outpouring earlier this year. It’s all about Jesus!
