Outdoor Day Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 11 am to 2 pm at RLC Community Park. Learn to weave cattails, meet a therapy dog, run the obstacle course and get a Kona Ice treat! All for free! Most of the activities occur in our lovely new pavilion so this is a rain or shine event. Visit the park and have some fun!

Play games, make crafts, try something new outdoors and earn prizes at RLC's Outdoor Day! Free fun for all ages. Take a look at all the nature-themed prizes you can earn by having a good time at your neighborhood park. Outdoor Day 11 am to 2 pm Saturday August 15 at RLC Community Park, 14318 Lima Road. This is a public event.

RLC Community Park Outdoor Day on August 15 from 11 am to 2 pm will feature regional monarch butterfly expert Deb Smith. Deb has collected, raised and released hundreds of butterflies over the years. Come out to hunt with Deb! She will show you how to locate monarch eggs and caterpillars in the park. This annual event has been combined with Outdoor Day for 2026, so enjoy all the other nature-themed activities while you are at the park this Saturday! Free Kona Ice and nature prizes for all who participate. This event is open to public. We would love to see all members of the community at this event!

On Sunday the youth led the service. They shared about their experiences throughout the week. After worship those who were available went to Tom and Glennie Monroe’s. There, Tom cruised around the lake for hours before then grilling dinner for us. Glennie entertained and helped with dinner. It was a great end to our Week of Service!
