This past weekend, we had the joy and privilege of hosting our brothers and sisters in Christ for the 2026 North America and Caribbean Regional Conference! Throughout the weekend, we fellowshipped with devotionals, country reports, and meals together.
On Saturday, April 25th, we kicked off our conference with praise and worship led by a few members of the CLC USA team and a devotional by International Director, Gary Chamberlin, on the topic of serving together. We also had regional director reports and country reports from Antigua, Barbados, Canada, Dominica, Trinidad and Tobago, and the US. We ended the evening with a meal together.
Sunday, Fritz Joseph, director of CLC Canada, gave a devotional on “The Compelling Sacrifice” in French (with translation) and then David Pabon and Herve Lessous shared reports on Latin America and Africa. After our lunch, we had a special outing to see The Great Awakening in the theater. This film tells the story of Reverend George Whitefield, his friendship with Benjamin Franklin, and their work in the First Great Awakening in the United States.
Our final full day of the conference kicked off with a time of worship with our CLC USA team and a devotional on the topic of “Working in Harmony” by David Pabon. Herve Lessous blessed us with a seminar on learning from our mistakes. We closed out the day with a buffet lunch and a video of our founders, Ken and Bessie Adams, on the history of CLC Ministries.
What a blessing it has been hosting our brothers and sisters! With most of our guests traveling or arriving home, we pray that this conference was an enriching time of fellowship for all!
