Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice has secured freedoms and blessings that we often enjoy every day without realizing the cost. As a Christian school, we are deeply grateful for those who courageously answered the call to serve, laying down their lives for others — a reflection of the sacrificial love spoken of in John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

This Memorial Day, we pray for the families of our fallen heroes and thank God for the many blessings we have as Americans because of their courage and sacrifice. May we never take our freedom for granted, and may we strive to live with gratitude, faith, and a heart of service to others. 🇺🇸

PCS season can bring a lot of change, uncertainty, and transition for military families. Whether you’re new to the area, preparing for a move, or simply looking for a church family to walk alongside you, we want you to know there is a place for you at Calvary Baptist Church. 🇺🇸

We are grateful for the sacrifices made by our service members and their families, and we strive to be a source of encouragement, support, and biblical community through every season of life.

From children’s ministries and couples classes to veterans fellowships, discipleship opportunities, military dorm outreach, and Christian counseling, our desire is to help military families feel welcomed, connected, and cared for.

If you’re PCS’ing to the Fort Walton Beach area this summer, we would love to meet you and help make Calvary feel like home. ❤️
