Worship service & children's classes on Sunday 9:30 a.m. Youth group meets Wednesday evenings. The Anchor is all about who Jesus is, what Jesus has done and what His finished work on the cross means to us. In other words, it’s really all about Jesus! Our focus is not on religion, but instead on a relationship with the Lord. Our desire is to set aside the things that truly don’t matter and to focus

on what truly does. Therefore our main priorities are summed up as follows:

To Worship the LORD. To Love People (including those who don’t love us)
To know why we believe what we believe by studying the Bible

Our name represents the scripture 'Hope is an anchor unto our soul'

The Anchor Church - Our Story

The Anchor is an ALL-volunteer church based in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Our purpose here is to have a place where everyone can belong, where we can build relationships and we can become more than just strangers meeting in a building, or people that get together once or twice a week. We desire to become a family! The Anchor is not a mega church. Our mission is to reach the lost with the Gospel and train believers in the “rightly divided” word of God.

We believe all of God’s word is His truth from Genesis to Revelation and the Anchor’s desire is to fulfill Paul’s instructions to the Ephesians of equipping the saints for the work of ministry and to edify the body of Christ until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God. We believe God's spirit resides within us to enable us with His love, power, and sound mind.

We desire to build each other up as well as hold each others hands in the struggles of everyday life. You will find Love, Acceptance, and Hope. Join us here at The Anchor... come and become a part of the Anchor family and experience God's Love in your Life.
