Mercy Seat Ministries

Mercy Seat Ministries "Where God Meets Man at His Greatest Need" Why Mercy Seat? In the wilderness tabernacle of Moses, the mercy seat was the place where God met with man.

Exodus 25:22 states "And there will I meet with thee, and will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony." It was there at the appointed time that God met with man, to engage him and speak or commune with him. It was there that the visible glorious presence (Shekinah) of God was revealed. Once a year on the Day of Atonemen

t, the high priest entered into the Holy of Holies to offer blood on the mercy seat, thereby making atonement for the sins of Israel. It was at the mercy seat that God met man at his greatest point of need. This is at the heart of Mercy Seat Ministries. We believe that every need is met in the presence of God. The purpose and vision of this ministry is to provide a place of refuge for those who feel forgotten or left out; an avenue of reconciliation for those separated from God; a place of restoration and healing for those who are bruised and broken. The Mercy Seat is the place where broken hearts are mended, relationships are restored, the lost are reclaimed and the wounded healed through our communing together in the presence of God.

This past Sunday at Mercy Seat Ministries was such a joyous, Spirit-filled time in the Lord! 🙌🏾🔥 Elder Timothy Gipson Jr. delivered a powerful and convicting word titled “Purpose vs. Calling.” We were challenged with the reminder that it’s not enough just to have a calling—you must also be walking in the purpose of that calling. If you missed this powerful message, don’t worry—you can catch the full message now on our YouTube page. Link is in the bio.

We can be called, gifted, and still forget our purpose.

Without purpose, even the gift can become empty. We were never called just to operate—we were called to reflect the love of God and lead people back to Him. ❤️🌍

Sunday at Mercy Seat Ministries was a joyous time in the Lord! 🙌🏾 Minister Michael McDaniel delivered a powerful and convicting message titled “Be Real About It,” coming from Acts 5:1–10. The Word challenged us to examine what we are truly giving to God and to be careful of offering Him only a partial sacrifice while presenting it as our all. God doesn’t just want a portion of us—He wants it all. Our whole heart, our whole life, and our complete surrender. 🙏🏾🔥

Ananias & Sapphira brought a sacrifice, but they didn’t bring the whole truth.

Partial sacrifice. Partial surrender. Deadly consequences.

If you want complete healing, be real about it. Stop holding pieces back and give it all to God. 🙌🏾
