Mercy Seat Ministries "Where God Meets Man at His Greatest Need" Why Mercy Seat? In the wilderness tabernacle of Moses, the mercy seat was the place where God met with man.

Exodus 25:22 states "And there will I meet with thee, and will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony." It was there at the appointed time that God met with man, to engage him and speak or commune with him. It was there that the visible glorious presence (Shekinah) of God was revealed. Once a year on the Day of Atonement, the high priest entered into the Holy of Holies to offer blood on the mercy seat, thereby making atonement for the sins of Israel. It was at the mercy seat that God met man at his greatest point of need. This is at the heart of Mercy Seat Ministries. We believe that every need is met in the presence of God. The purpose and vision of this ministry is to provide a place of refuge for those who feel forgotten or left out; an avenue of reconciliation for those separated from God; a place of restoration and healing for those who are bruised and broken. The Mercy Seat is the place where broken hearts are mended, relationships are restored, the lost are reclaimed and the wounded healed through our communing together in the presence of God.

Sunday at Mercy Seat Ministries was such an awesome time in the Lord! 🙌🏾🔥 Minister Derlain Alteme delivered a powerful and convicting word titled “Do You Still Not Have Faith?” coming from Mark Chapter 4. Through the disciples' experience in the storm, we were challenged to examine our own faith and how we respond when life's storms arise. After all we've seen God do, all He's brought us through, and all He's already proven Himself to be, are we still allowing fear to overshadow our faith? If you missed this powerful message, don't worry—we captured it all! You can go back and experience the full service now on our YouTube page. Link is in the bio.

COMMUNING TOGETHER IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD

Experiencing the Vision Before We Carry the Vision

We can gather in the same room and still remain disconnected.

Gathering is not necessarily communing.
Proximity is not communion.

God forms us individually, relationally, and communally.

Sunday ignites. Bible Study clarifies. Personal study deepens.

Before we can carry the vision of Refuge, Reconciliation, and Restoration, we must learn to experience it together in God’s presence.

You cannot microwave abiding.

Join us tonight as we continue our Spiritual Formation series.

Sunday at Mercy Seat Ministries was definitely one of those “you just had to be there” moments! 🙌🏾🔥
The Spirit moved in such a powerful way throughout the service, and our Senior Pastor, Timothy Gipson, simply flowed with what God was doing in the room, sharing a fresh and timely word straight from the heart. Sometimes there’s no program, no script, and no perfect way to describe it you simply have to allow God to have His way. And that’s exactly what happened at The Mercy Seat! 🙏🏾🔥
But don’t worry if you weren’t in the room—we captured it all! You can go back and experience the full service now on our YouTube page. Link is in the bio.
