FAQ:

Q- What is the music like? A- We love to sing! We sing a healthy mixture of traditional hymns and modern praise songs lead by a worship leader. We do not use any kind of musical instruments. You're welcome to follow along by picking up a book on the back of the pew in front of you, or to look at the projection screen. Q- What should I wear? A- Whatever you'd like. You'll find folks in jeans

and t shirts, but you'll find others wearing 3-piece suits. Whatever you wear, we just ask that you be modest. Q-Will there people my age? Unless you're 150. We have a mix of people from all generations and life stages in our church. Q- Will I be asked to do anything? A- We won't call you out, ask you to stand up, or to sign your life away to us. If you're related to a member, we might point you out so folks can say hi to you, but we will ask your permission beforehand. The only thing we ask you to do is to fill out a visitor card in the pew in front you so we can have a record of your attendance. Q- Will I be asked to give money? A- No. We have a time where our members can exercise their responsibility of giving to the work of the church, but we do not expect visitors to give anything. You may, however, choose to donate if you wish.

Acts, Luke’s letter to Theophilus is a continuation of his account of events centering on Jesus and things that followed his resurrection. The story of the early church is important, but we would know very little if it weren’t for Luke’s account. Many doctrinal questions are answered in Acts. The work of the Holy Spirit is central to the growth of the Church. The power of prayer is emphasized. The early Church was a praying church. Luke reminds us of the fulfillment of Old Testament prophesy, John the Baptist’s and Jesus’ words. Join this class for an in-depth study of Acts. Taught by Tom Thompson and DuWane Hooper

What would happen to churches in America if it became illegal to be a Christian? How would our faith fare under such trying and difficult circumstances? It’s one thing to be ridiculed because of our faith but it is an entirely different thing to give our lives for what we believe in. True kingdom faith is not afraid to “roar back” when put to the test. Join us for our last lesson in this series.
