Church Family,
I hope everyone has weathered the storm okay. I have been hearing of some folks who have had very little impact to their homes and others who have significant damage. More than anything I pray everyone is safe and secure.
I’m delighted to report that the church faired very well through the storm, all things considered. While there is some damage to fences, gates, the playground, and one of the overhangs, the buildings seem to be unaffected, including the roofs. We’ll be able to inspect things more thoroughly as times goes on, but for now, we are grateful the damage isn’t severe. The church currently does have power.
Here’s the plan for tomorrow…We are cancelling the 8am service, Sunday school, the men’s ministry gathering, and AWANA. We will gather for one service at 10:30am.
There will be no nursery or kids church, everyone will be together in the sanctuary. I look forward to gathering as the church, at church to worship Jesus, who is always worthy. We will also have the opportunity to communicate needs and make a plan to help soon.
We will have baptism tomorrow. If you are still planning to get baptized, and if you’re able, please let us know by emailing us at [email protected]. Or, if you’re reading this on Facebook, please leave a comment and tell us.
We have much to be thankful for. I look forward to gathering with you tomorrow to praise the Lord who is so worthy. Nahum 1:7 says, “The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.”
For God’s Glory,
Pastor Andrew
