Not the hard things.
Nothing.

So before you react, turn to God.
Before you move, turn to God.
And after you turn, stay with God.

Don’t let the circumstance become your compass. Get your bearings in His presence and remain there.

Psalm 27:10 (NLT)

“Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.”

There are some places in life where the deepest ache comes from realizing that the people from whom we naturally expect belonging, protection, understanding, and care may not always be able to give us what we need.

But their inability to hold me does not mean I am unheld.

The Lord will hold me close.

When relationships shift, when people disappoint, when what once felt secure no longer feels the same, God does not leave me relationally homeless.

He gathers me.
He receives me.
He holds me close.

My belonging is ultimately rooted in Him.

I am still held.
I am still wanted.
I still belong.

“Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.”

And sometimes, that promise is enough. ❤️
