💜 SAME HEART. SAME MISSION. OVERCOMER RELAUNCH! 💜

We are beyond excited to see what God is up to!

When God first breathed life into OVERCOMER, we knew the vision was to “plant and go”—to make room for more people to encounter Jesus and find freedom. Because we know everyone is overcoming something.

OVERCOMER reaches beyond drugs and alcohol. It’s also for people fighting battles they may never talk about: anxiety, depression, po*******hy, grief, shame, fear—you fill in the blank. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to carry it alone.

The Lord is expanding our tent pegs, and Monday, October 26, 2026, we get to watch that vision continue to unfold! Our heart for recovery, discipleship, and leadership remains the same: helping people find freedom in Jesus and equipping them to walk in their purpose.

We thank God in advance for what He’s doing and for opening doors 🙌🏻

Pastor Jay Allen brought a powerful message tonight at OVERCOMER from Matthew 25:1–13 about being ready and keeping oil in your lamp!

It’s a question we all need to sit with: Are we tending to our relationship with Jesus daily? Are we making room for the Holy Spirit, staying in the Word, and keeping our hearts surrendered—even in the waiting?

You can’t live on someone else’s oil. We each have to spend time in His presence and keep our own lamps burning! 🙌

THE WAITING & THE WILDERNESS 🌿

Tonight at Overcomer, we were reminded that some of the places we are most desperate to get out of may be the very places God is using to prepare us.

Delay is not denial.
The waiting room is not wasted time.
The wilderness is not the end of your story.

We looked at David, Joseph, and Moses, men we often remember for the promise fulfilled, while forgetting everything that happened between the promise and its fulfillment.

David had the anointing before the throne.
Joseph had the dream before the palace.
Moses had the calling before he stood before Pharaoh.

There were pastures. Caves. Pits. Prisons. Years of waiting.

And none of it was wasted.

Sometimes we want the promise without the process. We want the fruit without allowing God time to grow the roots. But God isn’t only concerned with where He is taking us. He is also concerned with who we are becoming along the way.

Maybe you’re in a waiting season right now.

Waiting for restoration.
Waiting for healing.
Waiting for direction.
Waiting for a door to open.
Waiting for an answer to a prayer you’ve prayed over and over.

Don’t confuse God’s silence with His absence.

Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep worshiping. Keep serving. Keep believing.

Maybe the prayer isn’t,
“God, get me out of this wilderness.”

Maybe it’s:

“God, do what You need to do in me while I’m here.”

Your wilderness is not your destination.
Your waiting is not wasted.
And the promise is still in the hands of a faithful God. 🤍

DON’T RUSH THE PROCESS.
TRUST THE TIMING.
LET GOD PREPARE YOU FOR WHAT HE PROMISED.

Last night at Overcomer was so special! ❤️

We spent extended time around the tables walking through Ephesians 6:10–18 and talking honestly about breaking strongholds, recognizing the real enemy, and putting on the full armor of God. We were reminded that we are not fighting for victory—because of Jesus, we are learning to stand from a place of victory.

We talked, prayed, encouraged one another, and stood together as a community—because no one should have to face life’s battles alone.

Then, as if the night wasn’t already meaningful enough, we had the incredible joy of witnessing Aaron and Sam enter into the covenant of marriage. Their wedding was a beautiful picture of love, faith, commitment, and the kind of partnership that chooses to stand together through every season. Surrounded by their church family, they began this new chapter with prayer, encouragement, and the promise to walk forward side by side with Christ at the center.

What a meaningful way to end an evening centered on faith, community, and new beginnings. Aaron and Sam, we celebrate you, we honor the commitment you’ve made, and we pray that your marriage will continue to reflect God’s love, grace, strength, and faithfulness.

This is Overcomer: real conversations, real prayer, real community, and lives being transformed through Jesus. 💙
