I want to extend an invitation to two groups of people.

First, if you are grieving the loss of someone you love—whether that loss was recent or many years ago—I want you to know that you are welcome. Grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and you don’t have to walk through it alone.

Second, if you have made it through some of the hardest parts of your own grief journey and have found hope on the other side, we would love to have you join us as well. Sometimes one of the greatest gifts we can offer someone is simply the reassurance that healing is possible.

We begin our GriefShare Summer Session tonight at 6:00 PM at The Bridge Church. This summer we’re offering a hybrid format, which means you can attend in person or join us virtually by video conference. That makes it possible to participate even if you’re traveling, miss a week, or don’t live anywhere near us. Whether you’re across town or across the country, you’re welcome.

I’ve had the privilege of facilitating GriefShare several times, and it remains one of the most meaningful ministries I’ve ever been part of. I’ve watched people discover that they are not alone, that their feelings are normal, and that there is hope even in the midst of deep loss.

This is what God designed community for—to carry one another’s burdens, encourage one another, and remind each other that hope still exists.

If you’re interested or have questions, send me a message or call 404-863-5885.

Today, Pastor Mike continued our study on Praying for God’s Will from Colossians 1:9-10.

Paul’s prayer was not simply that believers would know God’s will, but that they would live it out—walking worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in their knowledge of God.

One of the key reminders from today’s message was that spiritual fruit can be seen in every area of our lives:

Character > Who you are
Conduct > What you do
Conversation > What you say
Contribution > What you give
Converts > Who you win

As God works in us, that fruit should naturally overflow to others. Sometimes it’s through a conversation, an act of kindness, an invitation to church, a word of encouragement, or simply taking the time to share the hope we have in Christ.

God’s will is not only that we grow in our faith, but that we help others come to know Him as well.

ā€œSo that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.ā€
— Colossians 1:10

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM ROME! 🚨

Our news team secured an exclusive interview with the Apostle Paul today while he was under Roman guard.

Paul shared that he has been imprisoned for nearly two years, yet he remains steadfast in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ wherever God leads him.

Roman guard Brutus was present during the interview but had little to share. However, sources close to the situation believe Paul may win him over before the week is over. šŸ‘€

The story is still developing, and there’s still time to join the adventure at Paul and the Underground Church VBS!
