🎉 It’s a big week at The Bridge—our 10th Anniversary Celebration Week!

Please remember: there will be NO Wednesday night service this week.

Yesterday, Pastor Mike continued “The Spiritual Journey of Man” from Jeremiah 18:1–6. 🏺

Over the past few Sundays, we’ve followed this journey from formed by God → deformed by sin → transformed by grace. Yesterday, the focus was on that beautiful truth of transformation—the thorough, dramatic change that God’s grace can bring about in our lives.

We were reminded that salvation is an act, but sanctification is a process. God doesn’t save us and then leave us where we are. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, He continues cleansing, transforming, restoring, and revealing His work in us. 🙏🏻

Formed by God. Deformed by sin. Transformed by grace. ❤️

What a beautiful reminder that God is still working on us. The question is: Will we submit to His work?

🏺 Last Sunday: Man is formed by God.
🏺 Yesterday: Man is deformed by sin.

Yesterday, Pastor Mike continued “The Spiritual Journey of Man” from Jeremiah 18:1–6, building on last week’s trip to the Potter’s House.

And today’s message was clearly setting the stage for where we’re headed next. He gave us more than one hint that next Sunday is a message he’s especially looking forward to sharing! 👀🙌

🏺 The Spiritual Journey of Man

Yesterday, Pastor Mike took us to Jeremiah 18:1–6 and the Potter’s House.

Jeremiah was discouraged and disgusted, and God sent him to the Potter’s House, where He had a lesson waiting for him.

What did Jeremiah see?

He saw the Potter — a man at work.
He saw the clay — what the Potter was working with.
And he saw the vessel — what was being worked on.

But there was a spiritual picture in what Jeremiah was watching.

🏺 The Potter represents God — working with wisdom, love, and skill.

🤲 The clay represents man — pliable to God’s touch.

⚙️ The wheel represents all the circumstances of life and the providence of God.

Pastor Mike then brought us to Fact #1: Man is formed by God.

We were made by a Person, made for a purpose, and made to be a portrait of God Himself. Scripture tells us that man is the image and glory of God.

And what a reminder from the message: God does not make mistakes.

The circumstances of life may keep turning, but they are not outside the providence of God. The Potter is still at work, shaping the clay according to His wisdom, love, and purpose. 🏺
