Today, we celebrate the incredible mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, and mother figures who pour love, strength, wisdom, and faith into the lives around them every single day. đź’—

We’re excited to welcome back some very special people to The Bridge this week—Jess & Janet Peek!

For many of you, they’re not just guests… they’re 2 of our favorite missionaries. Jess and Janet have spent over 12 years serving in Kenya, faithfully ministering to women and sharing the hope of Christ.

Jess will be speaking during our Wednesday night service, and Janet will be joining our HuGs Ministry on Thursday morning.

If you’ve heard them before, you already know how impactful this time will be. And if you haven’t, we’d love for you to come and hear what God is doing through their lives and ministry.

We hope you’ll join us this week!

There’s just something about spring… everything is growing, coming back to life, and starting fresh again. Even the rain we’re seeing today is part of that—it’s what makes the growth possible.

If you’ve been thinking about coming back to church—or maybe visiting for the first time—this is a great time to start fresh.

We’d love to see you tomorrow at The Bridge. Come as you are—we’ll save you a seat.

Good Monday Morning,

Yesterday, Pastor Mike continued our series, Jesus’ Prayer for the Church — Part 3, from John 17.

Jesus prayed for His church—

That we would follow the Word of God.
That we would experience the joy of God.
And that we would go forth on the mission of God.

But this week, the focus turned to something just as important:

That we would be united in the love of God.

Not because we’re all the same—
but because we belong to the same Lord.

Unity in diversity.

“One body, one Spirit, one hope… one Lord, one faith, one baptism.”
(Ephesians 4:3–6)

The early church lived this out—
together, in one accord, in prayer. (Acts 1:14)

And maybe the simplest way it was said yesterday:

United becomes untied
when the “I” is in the wrong place.

Let’s walk into this week choosing unity,
walking in love,
and living out what Jesus prayed for His church.

Last night at our Wednesday evening service, Pastor Mike continued our current focus on prayer.

The emphasis was on listening.

It’s so easy to spend our time talking to God and forget that prayer was never meant to be a monologue.

We have to take the time to slow down and listen.

That’s where prayer begins to deepen—
and where we start to truly hear from Him.

Good Monday Morning,

Yesterday, Pastor Mike continued teaching from John 17—building on what we started last week.

In John 17:17–18, Jesus prayed:

“Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth…
As You sent Me into the world, I have sent them into the world.”

Jesus was praying for the church to:

Follow the Word of God.
Experience the joy of God.
And go forth on the mission of God.

> Personally.
>Collectively.
>Locally.
>Globally.

The church is not a place—
it’s a people living out what Jesus would do.

And the truth is… He is here!
In you and in me—His body.

So the question becomes:

Will you go?

We hope your answer can be:
“Here am I… send me.”
