The Cross: A Love Story. ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ“–

Today we pause to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice. In a moment of quiet, in the busyness of the day, consider the cross and what it means to you. How does this overwhelming love call to your heart?

"For God so loved the world..." โ€” John 3:16

Share a prayer or a verse that brings you close to the meaning of this day.

A New Commandment ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿฅ–

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." โ€” John 13:34

On Maundy Thursday, we remember the night Jesus shared his final meal with his friends, washed their feet, and showed us the true meaning of humble service. Join us as we reflect on this profound act of love and grace.

FTFPC is going high-tech (and highly efficient)!

The Session is thrilled to announce our most recent innovation in hospitality! In an effort to make sure no one has to stand in a long line at the Coffee Hour, we are piloting the use of a new delivery droneโ€”the Holy Roller.

What to expect: When you leave the sanctuary, a low-flying, automated cart will seek out those who look most in need of a snack. Simply wave, and a pre-packaged cookie and a small, secured cup of coffee will be delivered by a mechanical arm right into your hands.

Note for the pilot phase: Please do not mistake the donut drone for a large squirrel. Also, please wait for the signal that the coffee is fully 'unlocked' before grabbing. We don't need any spilled lattes in the entryway.

We are so forward-thinking! ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿค”

Hosanna in the Highest! Welcome the King!

Today is the 6th Sunday of Lentโ€”but we know it better as Palm Sunday! It is a day when our worship shifts from quiet reflection to vibrant praise as we commemorate Jesusโ€™ triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

We remember how the crowds waved palm branches and shouted "Hosanna!" (meaning "Save us now!"), recognizing Him as the promised King. While we know the challenging week that lies ahead, today we are united in celebrating the hope and salvation He brings.

Join us at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Thomas as we begin Holy Week together with a joyous service of music, scripture, and praise!
Come as you are and lift your voice. Letโ€™s welcome the King!

Lord, Save Us. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ™Œ

"Hosanna!" is a cry for help as much as it is a song of praise. On Palm Sunday, we join the crowd in Jerusalem, acknowledging our need for the salvation that only Jesus brings. We praise Him not just for who He is, but for the sacrifice He is about to make on our behalf.

Join us this Sunday as we begin Holy Week together, reflecting on the path that leads to the cross, and ultimately, to the resurrection.

New Life from the Ground Up

As we reach the Fifth Sunday of Lent, our journey brings us to a powerful realization: true growth often begins in the quiet, hidden places.

Inspired by the imagery of a grain of wheat, we reflect on the necessity of letting go of the old to make room for the new. Just as budding branches signal the arrival of spring, this season is our invitation to let God transform our hearts and prepare us for the vibrant life of Easter.

Join us at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Thomas as we draw closer to the heart of the Lenten season.

Come as you are, and letโ€™s experience this season of renewal together.
