We're taking a brief interlude from our "Summer Baggage" sermon series for a detour by bike. Join special guest, the Rev. Dr. Diana Hodges-Batzka, and John HB as we explore lessons learned from the scriptures, marriage, and thousands of miles of cycling. What an incredible start to our Summer Food Pantry!

Last night, we were blessed to serve 27 families with meal kits, and we couldn't be more proud of our youth. They showed up ready to work, eager to help, and full of compassion for their neighbors. From packing and loading boxes to greeting families with smiles, they truly embodied what it means to serve our community.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and prayed for this ministry. We're excited to see what God continues to do through these amazing young people and this mission to fight hunger in our community.

Our youth group is launching a weekly Drive-Thru Food Pantry this summer for anyone who could use a little help with groceries.

I recently saw a quote that said, "If you have to put your groceries on a credit card, then you should be utilizing food pantries." If that sounds like you, please come. No income verification required. We simply ask for one meal kit per address per week and that you bring an ID.

Want to help? Join us at Texas Roadhouse in Fort Wright on June 30 and show the attached flyer. 10% of your food purchase will help us feed local families this summer.

Our lesson this month begins with Daniel’s training in Babylon (Daniel 1). He had to make some difficult choices. His trust and obey in God led Daniel and his friends to choose wisely. Daniel did not eat the King’s royal food. He followed God and he only ate vegetables and water. So, our snack was vegetables and water. We had a little ranch dip to jazz it up a bit! Daniel and his friends would probably choose to not have the ranch dip. 😊

Everyone has baggage: worries, wounds, and struggles we don’t always talk about – but we need to talk about it. In “Summer Baggage,” we’ll confront real emotional challenges and discover how faith meets us in the middle of them with grace, strength, and hope. Topics will include depression, shame, and guilt. Let’s remove the stereotypes stigmas. Let’s get real about what can be some difficult times in our living.

Come experience the gift of music in a joyful and welcoming community! Through songs, movement, instruments, listening, and play, children and their caregivers will learn, grow, and connect together.

Designed for children from birth through age 5, First Steps in Music is a research-based program that nurtures a lifelong love of music while supporting each child’s musical development. With three age-appropriate class offerings, families can find the perfect fit for their little musician.

Music is one of the many ways we build relationships, celebrate creativity, and share joy with one another. We’d love for you to join us as we sing, move, learn, and grow together!
