Our kids and youth had such a great time at Hangout Sunday this past weekend!

A huge thank you to Alma art teacher Madison Yates for coming and leading them through a clay sculpture class. The kids got to create their own little clay creatures, and they took them home with paint pots so they can paint them after the clay dries for 24 hours.

We love getting to offer fun, creative spaces where our kids and youth can learn, make, laugh, and spend time together.

Thank you, Madison, for sharing your time and talent with us! 🎨🖌️💚

This Sunday is Trinity Sunday, a day when we remember the beautiful mystery of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We are also happy to welcome Keri back with us as our guest musician this week. We are so grateful for the gifts she brings to worship.

This Sunday is Trinity Sunday, and Pastor Chase has a special invitation for you.

Throwback Thursday: Goddard Edition - The Grapevine

Before there was a sanctuary, classrooms, offices, or a Great Room, Goddard’s first services were held under a wooden grape arbor at 1922 Dodson Avenue.

That grape arbor is the reason our church newsletter is called The Grapevine. It is more than just a cute name. It is a little piece of Goddard history that still connects us to where we began.

The church began in a simple, humble space, but even then, God was already growing something special here.

So, the next time you read The Grapevine, you can know you are holding more than church news. You are holding a small reminder of Goddard’s roots.

What a beautiful Sunday at Goddard today. 💙

We celebrated 2 baptisms, watched 4 kids publicly confirm their faith, and celebrated a family becoming official members of the church. There is just something powerful about seeing people take those next steps in faith together.

Days like today are such a reminder that the church is alive and growing. God is moving through children, youth, families, and every generation in between.

We are so thankful for everyone who shared this special day with us. Please continue praying for those who were baptized, confirmed, and joined our church today as they continue their faith journey.

It was a really good day at Goddard. ✨
