We at First Missionary Baptist Church are proud of all of our youth and believe in highlighting their accomplishments. Today we want to highlight Layla-Dion Johnson, daughter of Shanika Royal and James Johnson. Layla is the granddaughter of DeLois (Cole) Royal and the late Ulyseeuss Royal, Dorothy (Sanders) Johnson and the late Rev. James Johnson. Layla has been dancing since she was 7 years old and also choreographs her own praise dances at church. Layla is headed to Fresno and Los Angeles California with Miss K's Dance Bungalow
to take Master dance classes, dance at a gala, and dance in the WNBA this weekend. Congratulations Layla! Your church family is proud of you. Keep chasing your dreams!

Today mark’s day 4 of Vacation Bible School. This has been an awesome week! Every night our children and adults go to their classes, learn their lessons, do crafts, then assemble into the sanctuary where one of the classes gives the high points. We engage in fun action songs. The pastor gives his remarks and then we are dismissed into the fellowship hall where everyone is fed a hot meal and fellowships. It’s not too late to join us! We hope to see you tonight! On Saturday we will have our annual Vacation Bible school picnic to finish it off.

TOMORROW NIGHT AT 6 PM NIGHTLY!!!!

It’s almost time for Vacation Bible School!!!! This year it is June 22nd through June 26th, with a picnic following on Saturday, June 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM nightly.

This week our church had the privilege of attending the Regular Arkansas Young People’s Convention. The
theme was, “Marked by Jesus.” It was held at New St Hurricane Missionary Baptist Church
in Pine Bluff AR.

WHAT A TIME THEY HAD! 🔥

The Regular Arkansas Young People's Convention has been filled with powerful worship, life-changing messages, unforgettable fellowship, and mighty moves of God. Every service, every prayer, every praise has reminded us that we are truly MARKED BY JESUS!

This was more than a convention—it was an encounter. Lives were touched, hearts transformed, and young people boldly declared the name of Jesus. A movement happened.

Ashlyn Green is a Senior at NorthSide HighSchool. Ashlyn is the daughter of Ja’Mila Mcghee and Gerrod Green. Her grandparents are Ethel Willis and Lend McGhee, and Eugene Green. Ashlyn will be attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville to Major in Art History and Minor in Classical Studies. Congratulations Ashlyn! We are so proud of you!
