Our minds are so powerful! We can create amazing things just by a single thought, an idea! But it also can be a dangerous place. We can make ourselves sick from one worry, one thought. One doubt can plant a vineyard of anxiety, stress, and chaos in our minds.
This is why God commanded us to " take our thoughts captive." He knows that one thought can lead to more problems for us in our lives. The moment we start to doubt, worry, be fearful, is when we must immediately cast it down! Cast it down with the word of God. Yes, some things can feel so overwhelming. Yes, what we may be going through feels scary because we don't know where its going to lead. But what does God say about it? Gods word is a lamp, a guide for us. It will never not accomplish what its meant to do!

Psalms 119:105 AMP
[105] ¶Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. [Prov 6:23]

Isaiah 55:11 AMP
[11] So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

Isaiah 42:16 AMP
[16] “I will lead the blind by a way they do not know; I will guide them in paths that they do not know. I will make darkness into light before them And rugged places into plains. These things I will do [for them], And I will not leave them abandoned or undone.”

Even in the unfamiliar, God is guiding and leading us! We must trust in the Lord!

Keep going!

Even when we feel like we shouldnt push any further, thats the time to press in! Just like this verse says, If we keep going, at the right time - Gods time- we will reap our harvest. So many times we give up right before our breakthrough. Let us not grow weary, but press onward!

Sometimes when we are in a new season of our lives its uncomfortable at first. We dont understand it and to us it seems like the end of the road. The unfamiliar, sometimes painful, new season can have us tempted to look back. To look back at where we were in our past season of life. Looking back at those times makes us think " Those were the good days" or " man I was so much happier, healthier even." But those are just traps from the enemy. Remember when Lots wife looked back, she turned into a pillar of salt. She was a prime of example of being stuck in the past instead of looking forward to the future God had waiting for her.

God never intends for us to stay where we are. His word says:
Isaiah 28:10 AMP [10] “For He says, ‘Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, Rule upon rule, rule upon rule, Here a little, there a little.’ ”

We are always moving forward with God not staying in the same place or moving backwards.
Be careful to not stay stuck in the "good times" trap. When we thought life was best. God has so much more for each of us! He always has something better, fulfilling for us just ahead. We just need to get our minds off the past and look forward to the future and plans God has for us.

Jeremiah 29:11 AMP [11] For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

We all are at different stages in our lives. Some of us are young and some of us are older now. Even being in different seasons of life, we all have one thing in common, God has carried us through our difficult times. The times it was too hard to stand, He was there holding us. The nights that were filled with anguish, He sustained us. No matter where each of us are, God was there to help us. Gods Word says to come to Him when we are weary because he wants to take the load off of us. He knows life can be hard but He never meant for us to carry it alone. Whatever we face, we have a Father who loves us and wants the best for our lives. Take on His yoke and see how light it can be!

Matthew 11:29-30 AMP [29] Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. [Jer 6:16] [30] For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.”

Our Lord is faithful! He is faithful to His Word!
The Lord, creator of the universe, our Father will fulfill what He has promised! We must never lose our hope in Gods promises. Even when the report shows otherwise, even if the situation looks hopeless, God is still in control! He said in His Word that He will finish what He started.

Philippians 1:6 AMP [6] I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return]. [Rom 14:10]

Malachi 3:6 AMP [6] “For I am the Lord, I do not change [but remain faithful to My covenant with you]; that is why you, O sons of Jacob, have not come to an end.

Even when we feel like we havent been constant with God, He always remains faithful. He is always constant, always there. His faithfulness and devotion isnt based on how "good" we are. Gods character isnt something based on our own works, its because of who He is!

Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV [8] For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, [9] not of works, lest anyone should boast.
