As we kick off this wonderfully celebrated Mother's Day Weekend, Horton House continues to nourish the soul of anyone who steps in to the home. Sometimes this day is hard for some because maybe they are missing their mother or grandmother. But step into the Horton House and trust me, your heart will be filled with joy. The residents here love to adopt children and grandchildren everyday! Thank God they adopt me! We have the most dedicated nurturing wonderful care team and we are so very blessed. The Horton House is currently seeking a dependable and compassionate Cook to join our team!
We are a home-like environment dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality meals and truly enjoys serving the elderly.
Position Details:
Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Schedule: 20–25 hours per week
Pay: Based on experience
Qualifications:
Must be a good cook
Must have a passion for caring for the elderly
Experience working with the elderly is preferred
Must be able to pass multiple background checks
If you are reliable, caring, and enjoy making a difference through your cooking, we would love to hear from you.

Nothing was going to hold the Horton House back from hosting an incredibly uplifting Easter Egg Hunt for some truly remarkable young individuals! It might have been a little muddy but the weather ultimately worked in our favor. 😀 The Easter Bunny even stopped by to join in the celebration! We all reveled in cookies, cupcakes, and drinks, and lots of candy, and even some money from the Easter eggs that the residents had lovingly prepared for all the kids! What an profoundly enjoyable time it was! 🎉🥳🌸🍫
