Abiding Presence Lutheran Church We are an open and affirming congregation. Called to love one another as God loves us. A growing congregation. A loving community. Gathered by Christ.

We welcome and celebrate people of all races, cultures, ages, sexual orientations, identities and expressions, economic status, physical and developmental abilities. Abiding Presence Lutheran Church is located in Fort Salonga, New York in the heart of beautiful Long Island. We are a church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Growing in faith. Sent to serve. All are welcome! Our church is a community of faith that shares a passion for making positive changes in our community and in the world. Our faith is built around a strong belief in God as made known to us in Jesus Christ. Through worship, service, and education, we practice our faith, grow in our relationship with God and experience God's grace in our lives. We gladly welcome you to join our community of faith regardless of age, race, or status in life. If you are unfamiliar with our church we will greet you with a smile and be able to answer any questions you might have. Please come and see!

Join us on Sunday, October 25 at 9:30am, for a FaBOOlous Halloween Celebration!

Children are invited to come to worship dressed in their Halloween costumes for a special Blessing of Costumes.

We'll celebrate the joy of the season, enjoy treats and Halloween festivities, and share in this special blessing.

Donations of individually wrapped treats are welcome and appreciated!

We look forward to sharing this special event with our children, families, and church community!

Greetings from Abiding Presence,

In our Sunday liturgy God spreads a table before us. Even amid anxiety and hardship we rejoice in the peace of God which surpasses all understanding. With great joy we feast at the table of the Lord, and we go forth to share the wonderful invitation with others hungering and thirsting for the abundant life of God.

Join us at the IGA in Fort Salonga on Sunday, October 18 from 11:00am - 2pm. We will be collecting food to fill Thanksgiving baskets for families in the area. If you are unable to participate in person, a list of food items to create Thanksgiving Meal bags with drop off instructions is attached below.

Invitations were mailed for our Kickin’ it Country Fundraiser on Saturday, November 7. Please check the attachment below for more details including the QR code to RSVP to this event.
