As our nation observes the National Day of Prayer this Thursday, Grandview Baptist church wants to invite you to our special service at 6:30 p.m. centered on singing to the Lord, prayer, and learning about true biblical repentance.

We will be turning our hearts to Jonah Chapter 3. In this passage, we see that repentance is far more than a moral resolution or a fleeting feeling of regret. When the Word of the Lord came to Nineveh, the result was a radical transformation that reached from the king’s throne to the whole nation.

At Grandview Baptist Church, the adult Sunday School class is a teaching and equipping ministry designed to build Biblical literacy and theological comprehension. We are excited to inform everyone that this Sunday, March 8, we are starting a very important class.

In a world that constantly pushes us toward the next best thing, finding true rest can feel like an uphill battle. We invite you to join us at Grandview as we begin our study on learning to be content. This is a deep study to help Christians fight for joy and peace.

Contentment isn’t just a personality trait; it is a spiritual discipline that anchors us in God’s sovereignty and grace. Over the coming months, we will explore how to find peace regardless of our circumstances.

Our first session: "The Necessity of Contentment".
We will kick off the series by discussing why contentment is vital for the Christian life.
