No foul language should come from your mouth, but only what is good for building up someone in need, so that it gives grace to those who hear. - ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭29‬‬ CSB

The ninth commandment teaches us not to give false testimony against our neighbor.

How do you give false testimony?

1️⃣ Lying.
Therefore, putting away lying, speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, because we are members of one another.
- ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭25‬‬

2️⃣ Slander.
Lord, who can dwell in your tent? Who can live on your holy mountain? The one who lives blamelessly, practices righteousness, and acknowledges the truth in his heart — who does not slander with his tongue, who does not harm his friend or discredit his neighbor,

3️⃣ Gossip.
A gossip goes around revealing a secret, but a trustworthy person keeps a confidence.

4️⃣ Silence.
So it is sin to know the good and yet not do it.
