God of power and mercy,
you destroy war and put down earthly pride.
Banish violence from our midst and wipe away our tears,
that we may all deserve to be called your sons
and daughters.
Keep in your mercy those men and women
who have died in the cause of freedom
and bring them safely
into your kingdom of justice and peace.
We ask this though Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

As we celebrated our mothers in our lives this past weekend, we entrust them to our Mother Mary who never ceases to intercede for us.
🤍🤍🤍
This month of May dedicated to our blessed mother Mary, let us also remember the special place she holds in our faith. She can help us find and say yes to God’s calling in our own lives.

The Memorare:

Remember, Oh Most Gracious Virgin Mary.

That never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, our sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence I fly unto you, Oh Virgin of Virgins, my mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.

Amen.

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rev. Séan de Léis C.S.Sp., a missionary native of Ireland who served his priestly ministry in England, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and the United States, passed peacefully on April 14, 2026. Fr. Séan served as Parochial Vicar at St. Mark from 1993–2011.
During these eighteen years, he ministered to our community with great love, kindness, and care. His humility and generosity touched many lives through his celebration of the liturgy, the administration of the sacraments, and his compassionate support for those struggling in faith and in life.
Please join us for a memorial Service at St. Mark next Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10 AM. All are invited to attend 🙏🙏🙏

Divine Mercy Sunday, April 12, 2026

On May 5, 2000, five days after the canonization of St. Faustina, the Vatican decreed that the Second Sunday of Easter would henceforth be known as Divine Mercy Sunday.

Join us this Sunday, April 12th at 3:00PM in the Church as we pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Adore our Lord in the Eucharist ❣️

The Image: Jesus appeared to St. Faustina in a vision, with his right hand raised in a blessing and his left touching his garment above his heart. Red and white rays emanate from his heart, symbolizing the blood and water that was poured out for our salvation and our sanctification. The Lord requested that “Jesus, I trust in You” be inscribed under his image. Jesus asked that his image be painted and venerated throughout the world: “I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish” (Diary, no. 48) and “By means of this image I will grant many graces to souls” (Diary, no. 742).
