As a church we have been pursuing joy.

There's still plenty of the week left to get out there try out these joyful initiatives:

Take a media sabbath – Let’s take a break from social media and the news media, and just be present. Put the phone away for a day!

Go get ice cream – I mean… you really don’t need a reason.

Make a meal and pray for a missionary – As we cook and eat, we can be intentional about praying for others.

Enjoy the outdoors – Fly kites, blow bubbles, or just play some simple yard games together!

Short nature walk – Even 15 minutes outside can reset your mood and help you slow down!

Act of Kindness – Let’s be intentional this week about doing something kind and spreading a little joy to someone else!
Join us in the season of rejoicing!

First Baptist Church will lead the community Holy Week service and serve lunch tomorrow, Wednesday, April 1st.

The service is at 12pm and hosted at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Payne (300 Grand Ave NW, Fort Payne, AL 35967).

Service + Lunch takes place within the lunch hour.

All are invited to come and take a moment for reflection during this special week.
