Prayer Tree
“The Traveling Tree” - Our son, Jeremy David Hulgan, age 45, passed away last year on June 27, 2022. Our hearts have been broken. We love him so. ♥️♥️ The month of December, we were honored that The Rainsville Chamber of Commerce let us put his Christmas tree in the park. We put it there to honor him and as a Prayer Tree for anyone that wished to share their prayers. The tree was full of prayers. Weather was bad, but prayers stayed on. It was amazing!! For the few that came off, it was a joy to me, knowing that those that found a scripture or prayer. could be blessed by it in some way. After Christmas, I asked around to see if a church might be interested in the tree to bring people together in prayer. David, my husband, has many relatives buried at Wesley Chapel. He has memories of Decorations with so many that have passed on. It is within walking distance from our house. I reached out to AC Ellis at the church. He liked the idea and he put me in contact with Wilborn Poe, who put it up. Thank you to the members of Wesley Chapel for this act of kindness. I hope everyone that travels County Road 27, Fort Payne, AL and beyond, says a prayer in passing, stops by and puts a prayer on the tree or why not add a flower to the tree - from graves in the cemetery of loved ones. The old flowers will probably be thrown away anyway. Take a walk on the handicap ramp. It is very nice. It’s a beautiful church. Take a peek inside. I did! Have a blessed Easter Sunday and Decoration on Mothers Day. 🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏 Please share.
