Repent. John preached it. Jesus preached it. It isn't being "sorry". It's committing to change. It's turning away from the old and embracing the new. What do we need to repent of today?

Revelation 9:21 - "And they did not repent of their sorceries or their sexual moralities or their thefts."

Pray that through the Holy Spirit in us our lives would be "shaken" and that we would be bold and powerful witnesses for Jesus.

Meet your new Children’s Ministry Director: Amber McDaniel! We are happy to welcome Amber into this new role! She is a familiar face to many because she has been a part of Fort Payne First Methodist Church since 2022 when her family moved to this area from Mobile. Amber is a spirit-filled leader who has generously given her time as a volunteer for children’s church, Sunday School, Wonderful Wednesday Night, and rEcess.

Over twenty years ago, Amber answered the call to serve God as a nurse. She has always viewed that role as a ministry to patients and families in need. Today, Amber is a certified pediatric nurse who also holds a master’s degree in nursing. For the last two academic years, Amber has shared her passion with others as a nursing instructor at Northeast Alabama Community College. She is now following God’s calling to dive deeper into children’s ministry.

Amber is supported in her walk of faith by Jesse, her husband of thirteen years. They have three lovely children who are a blessing to us as well: Cora (12), Delta (10), and Walter (7). This entire family is interested in the things of God. They are excited to deepen their relationships within the church and to build up the next generation of disciples for Christ.
