Catoosa Kids Day is a community event on July 23 in Ringgold, Georgia, offering school supplies, health screenings, haircuts, and family activities to prepare kids for the school year. Over 50 local groups will participate to provide resources and support to families in need.

I know, I know...camp is over! But our friends at Sherwood Student Minstry just dropped this compilation and I had to share it. There was a lot of fun and growth, and I'm proud that our little church is all over this video! Our kids and leaders were active and outgoing all week! While there were some struggles, I'm immensely proud of how our kids represented the Lord, our church, and themselves throughout the week.

Like Pastor Matt says in the original post...I can't wait to see what the Lord does next.

Well, Student Camp 2026 has come to an end! 😢 Its a bittersweet day, to be sure. Everyone is ready for their own beds, but new friends were made, great times were had, and several recommittments/decisions were made!

It was a tremendous blessing to work, play, and worship with the kids and staff of all our partner churches (Sherwood Baptist-Rome, Hollywood Baptist-Rome, New Heights Baptist, and Highland Park Baptist), thank you all! I also cannot thank our leaders (Christian Ware and Melanie Moore) enough for giving of their time and pouring out love over our kids! And, thank you to the parents and church members that prayed, donated, or otherwise supported camp this year!

The final day was mostly packing and driving, but we had a great final breakfast, some heartfelt goodbyes, and a surprise "ice cream brunch" at the Blue Bell Creamery in Sylacauga!
After that, we dropped everyone off, moved equipment, and called it a day. Now, to make like Peanut (see the napping dog) and get some rest! 😆

Day Four in the books! More rain today, but that didn't stop us from having a blast! Some "wet n wild" fun on the activity field, some stellar final messages and worship, excellent small group discussions, possibly some naps, and some final glow in the dark team games. We depart tomorrow from an amazing week! Praise the Lord for the Peanut the camp dog, good rain gear, and kids that want to learn more about Jesus!

A little late posting, but day three of camp is complete! More great food, and fun was had for sure! Pastor Sean brought the Word for camp in the morning service, there was a scavenger hunt and pool time in the afternoon, a few folks discovered "carpet ball," we confused our fellow campers with a great game of "night at the museum," had a second great service, then...Manhunt! Leaders hunting kids across camp, in the dark! We ended the night with our kids serving a late night snack. Praise the Lord for fun, worship, and opportunities to serve!

Wrapping up a soggy, but solid day two of camp! Good food, great services (with alter time for our kids), tons of indoor games, and we wrapped up the day with a glow party. The Spirit is working and friendships are being made, in spite of the rain!
