What if the path to greatness goes down? Jesus walked the upside down road choosing the cross for our sin, our shame, our brokenness. Because he humbled himself, God exalted him and gave him a name above every name. He's inviting us to walk this same upside down road.

Todays sermon: "The Downward Path"

The world tells us to climb higher, make a name for ourselves, and fight for the spotlight. But Jesus showed us a different way. The King of Kings stepped down from heaven, took on the nature of a servant, humbled Himself, and became obedient to death, even death on a cross. The One who deserved to be served became the One who served. And if the Son of God was willing to humble Himself, what excuse do we have for holding on to our pride?

Today, as we continue our series JOY IN THE JOURNEY, we're talking about humility, pride, and the DOWNWARD PATH Jesus took. Because the way UP in the Kingdom of God begins by going DOWN.

There's something special about gathering with the family of God. No matter what kind of week you've had, Sunday is an opportunity to come together, worship Jesus, open God's Word, and be reminded of the HOPE we have in Him!

Also, Make note: We have just TWO more Sundays with our 8:30 AM service!

Beginning NOVEMBER 1ST, we're bringing EVERYBODY together for ONE SERVICE at 10:30 AM!

November 1st isn't just any Sunday. It's our 4TH ANNIVERSARY!
As we prepare to move into our new building in just a few weeks, we're going to squeeze everybody into one service! We've got the chairs, and we're going to MAKE THE ROOM!

Because there's something special about worshiping together. One room. One time. One church. One family. All lifting up the name of JESUS!

Until then, we've still got TWO Sundays to worship together at 8:30 and 10:30 AM!

So invite somebody, bring your family, and come ready to worship!

Today, our Hope Church family mourns the loss of someone incredibly special.

Early this morning, we lost not only Pastor JC’s grandmother, affectionately known as Nanny, but the very first member of Hope Church.

Before the growth, the buildings, and the hundreds of people, Nanny was there. She believed in what God was doing from the very beginning.

Sunday was her favorite day of the week. How fitting that early on a Sunday morning, she went HOME to worship the Jesus she had loved for so long.

Today, her faith became sight.

As Pastor JC preached this morning from Philippians 1, “For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.”

Please keep Pastor JC and his family in your prayers.

Hope Church’s first member is now HOME with Jesus. And because of Him, this isn’t goodbye forever.

Fall Break is starting, and it looks like we may have some hurricane remnants heading our way… BUT SUNDAY IS COMING!

We're jumping back into Week 3 of JOY IN THE JOURNEY, This week we are walking through Philippians 1:19–30.

Here's what I love about this passage: Paul is sitting in prison, facing an uncertain future, and STILL talking about JOY! What if joy isn't found in everything going your way, but in knowing WHO holds your life when nothing seems to be going your way?!?!

We're going to talk about what it means to LIVE FOR CHRIST, STAND TOGETHER, and TRUST GOD even when the road gets hard. Church, I believe this is a word we ALL need right now!

So whether you're staying home for Fall Break or your plans haven't taken you out of town, We would love for you to make plans to joun us at church this Sunday!

Bring your family. Invite a friend. Come expecting God to speak through His Word.

THE ROAD MAY BE HARD, BUT THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

Hey Hope Church family!

Just wanted to give you a quick heads up we’ve got a GOOD problem!

Hope Students has grown so much that they’ve officially outgrown the theater and now need to use the main auditorium on Wednesday nights!

Because of that, we’re going to pause our First Wednesday services for the remainder of the year. Once we’re in our NEW FACILITY at the first of the year, we’ll have plenty of room for everyone to gather at the same time.

We’re thankful for GROWTH, and we can’t wait for what’s ahead!

THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

Following Jesus was never promised to make us popular. In fact, Jesus told us the world may hate us because of Him. But He also promised us life, and life abundantly! (John 10:10)

We have a mandate: GO!
GO and Take the Gospel to your family. Your coworkers. Your neighbors. Your friends. The people God puts in your path every single day. We cannot be ashamed of the Gospel. We cannot be silent about Jesus!

Be bold. Live your faith. Share the Gospel. Make Jesus known.
