THE BEST IS YET TO COME — WEEK 4

Today pastor JC preached on Haggai 2:1–9, we found a people who were discouraged because what they were building didn’t look anything like what they remembered. They were looking at the new temple and thinking, “This isn’t like the old one.” and God’s message to them was simple: Be strong. Keep working. I am with you!

What they could see wasn’t the whole story and maybe that’s where some of us are today.
You’re looking at your life and thinking, “This isn’t what I thought it would be.”
You’re comparing what God is doing now to what He did before.
You’re discouraged because the present doesn’t seem as impressive as the past.

But God reminds us: His presence matters more than what we see. "The glory of the latter house would be greater than the former" God wasn’t finished. And He’s not finished with you either. Don’t quit because it doesn’t look like what you expected. Don’t despise the small beginnings. Don’t let yesterday’s glory make you blind to tomorrow’s promise. Be strong. Keep working. God is with you!

To every person who has given, prayed, sacrificed, shared, and invested in the mission and vision of Hope Church — THANK YOU!

We don’t take a single gift for granted. Every dollar is helping us get one step closer to opening the doors of our new home and making room for more people to hear the Gospel, find community, and experience the hope of Jesus.

Starting this month, we’ll gather together on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of every month at 6:30PM for worship, teaching, prayer, and time together as a church family.

HOPE STUDENTS officially kicks off this Wednesday as well. Students 6th - 12th grade join us!

Todays pastor JC preached from Haggai 1:12–15
Sometimes the greatest move of God begins with something simple:“The people obeyed.”

Israel had heard the Word of God, and this time they didn’t make excuses. They didn’t delay. They didn’t wait for everything to be perfect. They obeyed.

And then God gave them a promise:“I am with you.”

What a reminder for us today. God doesn’t just call us to build something He calls us to trust Him enough to take the next step!

Obedience opens the door to what God wants to do next. Maybe you’ve been waiting for God to move, when He’s been waiting for you to move. The best is yet to come. But sometimes the next chapter begins with obedience.
God is with us and that changes everything!
