Don’t forget to read your Bible tonight! God’s Word is an amazing resource to help with every season in our lives. It offers us hope during times of hopelessness, comfort during uncomfortable days, and help when we feel helpless! Hebrews describes it as being sharper than any two-edged sword. It has the amazing power to change us for the better if we allow it to.

Tonight, I encourage you to get your Bible out, pray for discernment and understanding as you read and then set off into your devotions. Don’t make this a one time thing, make it a daily priority and watch as you begin to feel more positive and feel God working in your life in great ways!

I look forward to seeing everyone Wednesday night at 7 PM!

Three weeks ago on a Wednesday night, one of our teens, Colby Barefield, came forward about his need for Christ in his life. He trusted Christ as his personal Savior!! Today we had the joy to baptize Colby! We are rejoicing with him in this new journey in his life. Please help us congratulate this young man and encourage and pray for him as he continues growing in his spiritual journey with Christ. Colby, we can’t wait to see where the Lord takes you in your life! Come be a part of our services (youth meetings every Wednesday nights at 7 PM) and see what God is doing at our church. Come to Moriah where you can be surrounded with good Christian friends and grow in your walk with the Lord!

We are excited for a lesson from Bryant tonight at 7 PM! Come join us and see what the hype is all about at Moriah! We will be having dinner before class starts at 7 PM as well. Join us for a night of food, fun, fellowship and faith! If you need a ride, call Chance at 423-605-1197!

We had a great time on Saturday at our teen Christmas party! We enjoyed food, fun, and fellowship!! Thank you to everyone that helped organize the party and to all of the teenagers for coming! We are looking forward to a few outings and more events that will be coming up soon. More details will be posted soon! We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!
