Ghost Orchid Grove

Ghost Orchid Grove Welcome to the Ghost Orchid Grove It blooms during the storm season between June and August, with one to ten fragrant flowers that open one at a time.

The Ghost Orchid (Dendrophylax lindenii), is the most mysterious and beautiful beings in the Florida swamps. Pollination is done by the giant sphinx moth. If removed from the wild it usually dies within one year. Ghost Orchid Grove is an eclectic Druid grove and all paths are welcome to join. I found being alone on the Path to spirituality is like playing

baseball by yourself, you can throw the ball up in the air and catch it, but that is about it. I enjoy the sharing with other seekers. Please be respectful of others and their Paths. No disruptive behavior, no prosthelytizing. Hail and be well.

Good Morning, Floridians!

Good Morning, wherever you are, Honorable Shamans and Fellow Pagans. Oh, what a wonderful day it is, here in sunny, breezy Southwest Florida. I'm collecting my thoughts while the Kit Tan who is six, naps on me. She is so warm. We are listening to the breezes, and to the birds.

Take time each day to pause to collect your thoughts. Enjoy the calm, enjoy the breezes.

And share your Peace with Our Earth.

Do you know how to tell a Panther track from a dog track? We have lots of people take their dogs out on wilderness trails. Muddy areas and damp sand are the best places to stop and study-look for tracks!

Below is a good graphic to help you determine if it's a big cat, or a big dog! Print it out and laminate it for your next trek.

Based on this chart, what is the below sandy image from? What are two differences that you see in the tracks, as you compare the card to the muddy track.
