This week, we heard part of Joseph's story and the challenges he faced. "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen" could have been his song.

Instead, Joseph was faithful to God, trusting Him while in prison from being falsely accused. When Joseph was called upon, God led him and gave him wisdom to interpret dreams. Even the pagan Pharaoh recognized God's work through Joseph.

God saved Egypt from seven years of famine by giving Joseph the creative gifts to manage the crisis.

How might God want to work through you? Are you willing to obey?

It was so great to be back live again! In the game, World Changers were learning that even though we are each unique, there are still ways we are alike.

God is an amazing Creator and He made us for a special purpose. Our first purpose is to belong to Jesus, and then we can do the work that God prepared for us to do.

May our work give God glory!

What an exciting time of year! Let's cover it in prayer, dear parents.
This is a favorite prayer as it puts our focus on God and on others. Time for a new beginning. Let Jesus make all things new!

A year ago at 9:30 X-Factor, we began turning the pages of God's Big Story in Genesis. All year we have learned hos God cared for His people, even when they sinned. Sunday, we learned about an incredible vision that Jesus showed John. This broken world will all be made new again! God would bring a new heaven and new earth where all of God's people will live with Him for eternity.

Everyone who trusts in Jesus as their Savior will be part of God's forever family. As we obey Jesus, His Spirit makes us more like Jesus every day.

It isn't the end of the story but the beginning! Jesus, may Your Kingdom come in love and peace! Forever!

This hallway is more than a baby sitting service.
This hallway is where a love for church is ignited.
Where child-like faith develops.
This hallway is where ministry happens.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s more than a drop-off and pick-up center.
It’s where moms find allies and dads find common ground.
Where parents feel seen, supported, and encouraged.
Where friendships are cultivated.
Where volunteers’ spiritual gifts are used.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s ministry that never holds a microphone.
Is not put on stage.
Is rarely thanked.
Is seldom even fully understood.
Nonetheless, this hallway is where Kingdom work transpires.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Baptisms may not happen in this hallway.
But the groundwork is laid in this hallway.
It’s where children learn to ask questions.
Where a passion for God’s Word is birthed.
Where church becomes a safe space.
Where church becomes a fun place.
This is where making disciples begins.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This hallway is often a make-it or break-it place for young families visiting for the first time.
This place is vital for a church to grow into a multi-generational congregation.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It takes an army to open this hallway.
An army full of humble, sacrificial, God-honoring people.
People who I personally cannot thank enough for pouring into our own children.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This isn’t a place where children go so they aren’t a distraction to the main attraction.
This is a place where children go to worship the main attraction – Jesus.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is children's ministry. Elementary. World Changers.
Whatever you call it, this is a mission field.
This is ministry.
This hallway is important.
