This is one of the most difficult prayers to pray as a believer. But it is so necessary. True freedom comes from surrendering our lives to the Lord daily. When we try to accomplish what we want apart from Him, we become enslaved to our desires. However, when we surrender, we make room for God's desires for us to come alive. And that is way better than anything we try to do in our own strength.
