My name is Tyrone Ortiz, and I want to thank you for taking a moment to hear my story. I was diagnosed with Stage 5 kidney disease. I am currently in the process of pursuing a kidney transplant, a journey that has required courage, patience, and a deep trust that God is guiding me through every step. This season of my life has shown me both the weight of the battle and the beauty of the support that surrounds me. I am blessed beyond words to have a donor who is willing to make an extraordinary sacrifice so that I can have a chance at a healthier future.
While my donor is ready and willing, she is facing significant medical expenses connected to the donation process. These include testing, travel, and recovery costs that are not fully covered. Without financial help, she cannot move forward, and that means I cannot move forward either. This fundraiser exists to remove that barrier—to make sure that finances do not stand in the way of a life-saving transplant. Supporting her directly impacts my ability to receive the kidney I need.
