God’s Word to Set Our Course
We anticipate that we will stay the course set by the faithful people who have come before us. We will not change our Doctrinal stance or the character of the church to fit the culture but will rely on God’s Word to set our course. We want to be a church that reaches out to those who need, a church that sends people to our neighbors with the Gospel of Jesus Christ; no
t in comparison to any other church but to fill the role that God has placed before us faithfully. We know that God has called faithful people everywhere to work to build His kingdom in the power of the Holy Spirit. We know that He has gifted each of us differently and wish to be faithful to serve Him. The Apostolic House of God seeks to be a place where God is worshiped as God; in the home, at work and in the church building. The church is intended to be a safe place, a harbor from storms, a place of renewal and growth. The church must be a place where broken people become more whole, and where life change is the hope of all. We expect to accomplish this by: passionate worship of God in all of our lives, teaching that focuses on God and His Word and work in the world through His Spirit in our lives. Because of the outreach and care of God we have received, we are determined to share the love of our lives with others.
