What a joyful couple of Sundays at St. John’s! 💙

On May 17th, we celebrated our graduates and recognized all of their hard work and accomplishments. We were also honored to present the Debi Edmondson Scholarship to Henry Crocker. Congratulations, Henry, and congratulations to all of our graduates as they begin this exciting new chapter!

Then on May 24th, we celebrated another special milestone as 7 confirmands were confirmed and officially joined St. John’s Church family. We are so proud of each of them and grateful to walk alongside them in their faith journey.

These moments remind us how blessed we are to celebrate growth, faith, and community together. ✨

What a wonderful time of fellowship at our 50+ Luncheon! We were so grateful to gather with members of our congregation for a delicious meal, great conversation, and an inspiring message from our amazing speaker, Arthur Spriggs, Executive Director of Camps and Retreats for South Carolina.

Thank you to everyone who helped prepare, serve, and make this special event possible. It was a joy to spend time together, share laughter, and celebrate the gift of community. We are already looking forward to the next one!

Today at St. John’s, we celebrate all the women who have nurtured, guided, loved, and cared for others in ways big and small.

A special blessing to our newest mothers and our longest mothers among us — two beautiful reminders of the generations of love, faith, strength, and wisdom that shape our church family. 💐

Thank you to every mother, grandmother, spiritual mother, mentor, and caregiver who reflects God’s love into the world each day. Happy Mother’s Day! 💕

Stamp Out Hunger is an annual food drive through the US Postal Service. On Saturday, May 9, you can help our neighbors in need simply by leaving a bag (or two) of non-perishables by your mailbox. What could be easier?
Your Stamp Out Hunger donations will make their way to our food pantry shelves and into the hands of those in need.

🍓 SC Strawberry Festival Operating as Scheduled Today- Weather Update🍓

The South Carolina Strawberry Festival is happening as scheduled today, kicking off at 10 a.m.! 🎉

There may be a little rain to start the day, but it’s nothing we can’t handle! Light rain will taper off around noon, giving way to a dry and comfortable afternoon. Even better—no severe weather or strong winds expected.

So make sure you join us today for a full day of food, fun and strawberries. We can’t wait to see you out there today! 🍓☀️
