We would like to welcome our new Pastor... Reverend Edward Young.

A native of Charleston, SC, now rooted in Fort Mill, Rev. Edward J. Young brings over fifteen years of ministry experience as he steps into his new role as Pastor of Jerusalem Baptist Church.

He holds a Master of Divinity in Intercultural Studies from Gardner-Webb University, a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor of Science from Winthrop University. Rev. Young was ordained as a Deacon in 2008, licensed to preach in 2011, and ordained as a Reverend in May 2025.

By day, he serves as Career Development Facilitator at Fort Mill High School and is active in the community as a middle school football coach and founder of the Fort Mill Saints 7v7 non-profit. Mission trips to Canada, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic reflect his heart for the world.

He is the proud husband of Rev. Adrienne Young and father of two sons, Emmanuel and Elisha. His conviction: lead people well, love them faithfully, and point them toward Jesus
