🌟 Ministry Spotlight: Ethan Haynes! 🌟

This week we’re celebrating Ethan Haynes, one of our own students who is already learning what it means to serve others! You’ll find Ethan hanging out with friends at youth group, participating in mission trips, and faithfully serving in our Uptown Kids Ministry with our Kindergarten and 1st graders.

The kids love having Ethan in Uptown! He brings plenty of fun and energy each week while helping create an environment where kids can learn about Jesus and know that church is a place where they are loved. Ethan also serves each year at VBS, continuing to invest in the kids of our church.

We love seeing students like Ethan not only participate in the life of our church, but also step up and serve others. We’re grateful for Ethan and the example he sets by using his time and gifts to serve the Lord and the next generation! Show Ethan some love in the comments below :)

Reminder:

We are making room for more!

Our new Sunday morning schedule begins September 13!

As God continues to bring new people through our doors, we want to make sure there is room for them to worship, fellowship, and hear the gospel!

Beginning Sunday, September 13, we’ll offer three worship services across two time slots:

9:00 AM
• Contemporary Worship — Worship Center
• Groups for all ages

10:30 AM
• Contemporary Worship — Worship Center
• Traditional Worship — Chapel
• Groups for all ages (except students)

This new schedule allows us to expand our worship capacity while continuing to offer both contemporary and traditional worship, and creates more opportunities for guests and growing families to find a place to connect.

As we prepare for this exciting new season, we’re asking our church family to:

🙏 PRAY — Ask God to send a harvest and raise up laborers.
❤️ PREPARE — Prepare your heart to embrace whatever helps us reach more people with the gospel.
🙌 PARTICIPATE — Ask, “Lord, where do You want me to serve in making room for more?”

Adding another service isn't about numbers, It’s about making room for more people to live in Christian community as God designed them.

We are so thankful for what God is doing through this body of Christ and we can’t wait to see what God does in the years to come!

Sunday, we had the privilege of praying over and commissioning members of our church family as they step out to serve as missionaries. We are grateful for their willingness to answer God's call and take the hope of the gospel across the street and around the world.

As they go, we send them with our prayers, our support, and the confidence that the Lord goes before them. Join us in praying for their protection, boldness, and that many would come to know Christ through their faithful witness!

🌟📖 Ministry Spotlight: Amenet Stout! 📖🌟

This week we’re celebrating Amenet Stout, who faithfully serves in our Uptown Kids Ministry with our Kindergarten and 1st grade children. Week after week, Amenet invests in young hearts, helping kids learn God's Word and grow in their faith during these important early years.

In addition to serving in Kids Ministry, Amenet has also used her musical gifts by singing in our Student Worship Band, leading others in worship during her time in Student Ministry.

We are so grateful for Amenet’s servant heart and her willingness to use her gifts to point the next generation to Christ! Show some love to Amenet in the comments church 🙏
