There’s a seat for you here. 💙

What happens when the way of Jesus collides with the way the world works?

Everything around us is constantly telling us what matters:

Be noticed.
Get ahead.
Protect yourself.
Fit in.

Then Jesus says something completely different.

Over the next four weeks, we’re going into the Beatitudes and looking at the places where Jesus flips the world’s values upside down. We’ll talk about the people the world overlooks, what our cravings reveal, why peacemaking is worth the cost, and what it means to live differently instead of blending in.

The world has plenty to say about what matters, what you should chase, and who you need to become.

Then Jesus says something completely different.

Audacious faith doesn’t always look like standing on a mountain in front of 450 people.

Sometimes it looks like refusing to join the gossip.
Praying when you’re anxious.
Choosing what’s right when your friends don’t.
Inviting someone to church.
Talking about Jesus even when it feels uncomfortable.

Elijah’s faith was bold because he trusted who God was, even when he felt outnumbered.

Join us Wednesday at 6:30 PM! We’ll start in the Sanctuary for prayer, then students will break out for an honest conversation about living with audacious faith in real life.

Have something you need prayer for? Send us a message. We really will pray for you. 💙

What you see isn’t always the whole story. 👀

They saw a sea. God saw dry ground.
They saw a giant. God saw victory.
They saw a tomb. God saw resurrection.

We tend to look at what’s right in front of us and decide what’s possible based on what we can see.

But God sees what we can’t.

So maybe the thing in front of you isn’t the end of the story. Maybe you don’t have to have all the answers. Maybe you just need to trust the One who does.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻?

You can come up with a lot of reasons not to do what God is asking.

I’m not ready.
I don’t know enough.
I’ve messed up too much.
Someone else would do it better.

Moses had a whole list too. But God answered his excuses with the truth Moses needed most:

“I will be with you.”

God isn’t asking you to feel fearless before you obey. He’s asking you to trust Him enough to move.

Maybe your next yes is apologizing, inviting someone to Connect803, praying with a friend, standing up for someone, breaking a harmful habit, telling the truth, or talking to someone about Jesus.

Don’t wait until you feel completely qualified. Choose one step and take it.

Which excuse hits closest to home?
