How often is our focus on "Pleasing God and Making Him Joyful" compared to seemingly always seeking how "God Can Make Us Happy."

RICHARD L HAMM MINISTRIES
Rwanda Graduation
April 2024–––147 Graduates

What a great week of ministry in Rwanda. Our School of Ministry graduation coincided with the thirty year anniversary (April 1994) of the genocide of the Tusi tribe by the Hutu tribe. Over two million innocent Tusi were mercilessly slaughtered, most by machete. I visited the genocide memorial and my heart and spirit was moved beyond control as I saw the horrific photos of slaughter; scores of bashed skulls were behind glass and the mass grave of over two hundred and twenty-five thousand people. The events that unfolded over those one hundred days of genocide are beyond belief. Rwandan’s have made great strides in healing their nation and has made unbelievable recovery from the atrocity inflicted by their own countrymen. Continue to pray for Rwanda.

Our first graduation class of one hundred and forty seven students in Rwanda join multiple graduation classes from RLHM extension sites in Liberia, Ghana, Togo, Kenya, and Burundi who have completed the one year program Christian Life Series from Global University’s School of Evangelism and Discipleship We give God all the praise!. Our highlight was the graduation of Everine Nyirahene at age seventy-four. We worshipped, Dr. Hamm shared the Word of God, we celebrated the graduates, and gave them their charge. We concluded with a great catered banquet for all to enjoy.

Special thanks to Pastor Jonathan Ntegerejuwera, our Rwandan Director who did an amazing job of operating the four study centers over the past year. The graduation celebration was phenomenal. The success of the ministry is because of his hard work and sacrifice. Our Kenya director, Pastor Anthony Maina Wanjuki who helped us launch the school joined us for the week.

We are off to Dublin, Ireland in July to launch a new school of ministry. We praise God for this new and exciting opportunity.

Please feel free to share your prayer needs with us. We are honored to pray with you and for you. Send us your prayer needs to [email protected].

Thank you for your continued prayers and gifts. You are truly helping in a grand way as we train leaders around the world. Remember to visit our website at RLHM.ORG.

Blessings on the Journey,
Richard and Anita

Samoa Islands September 2023
Asia Pacific Theological Seminary
Extension Class, Pago Pago

Richard L. Hamm Ministries had a very successful sixteen day trip to Pago Pago, American Samoa to teach a core graduate class for Asia Pacific Theological Seminary. The Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (APTS) is the foremost regional Pentecostal-Charismatic seminary, serving the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. Since its founding in 1964, APTS has trained thousands of leaders, with many of them serving now in key positions in international and national churches and organizations. Dr. Hamm has been privileged to serve as an adjunct professor with APTS for over fifteen years.

We had a very robust class filled with pastors and denominational leaders. Dr. Hamm taught “Perspectives in World Missions.” He reported the students were deeply engaged, had in-depth discussion and interaction on obeying God’s mandate of Missio Dei in a cross cultural setting. All students testified they had been challenged in their understanding of the Biblical Theology of Missions. Writing assignments will begin arriving soon and the grading process will begin. Dr. Hamm had the pleasure of preaching for Rev. Aifa Tanuvasa, the General Supt. of the Assemblies of God church, Jehovah Jireh and at the Cornerstone Church (English speaking congregation) the following Sunday. He preached for ten churches that combined for a special mission service on the subject of the Importance of Missions. All the services were wonderful and filled with the presence of God. The Samoan people have beautiful voices and their harmony is unmatched. The worship was very inspiring.

This beautiful island is only seventeen miles long and five miles wide at its widest point. Dr. Hamm enjoyed hiking to the top of Mt. Alava and enjoyed the breathtaking views. Hiking the rain forest was so scenic to say the least. The crashing waves of the raw Pacific Ocean pounding the shore line is beautiful and mesmerizing. Dr. Hamm is looking forward to returning to the islands of the South Pacific in early 2024 to teach another graduate course.

Please keep APTS in your prayers. APTS is one of the most prestigious theological seminaries in all of Asia. Pray for our RLHM schools of ministry in Liberia, Rwanda, Burundi, and Kenya. Finally, pray for our students in our three year Berean School of the Bible program.

Please check out our website at RLHM.ORG for updates on the ministry.

Thank you for your continued prayers.

For the Cause of Christ,
Richard and Anita Hamm

My 14 days in paradise in the Samoan Islands in the South Pacific has come to end. I begin the journey home late tonight. From climbing Mt Alava, hiking the rain forest and the crashing waves of the raw Pacific Ocean; God's cartoon is stunning. What an honor to teach a core graduate course for Asia Pacific Theological Seminary. I am blessed to be a professor with them for over 15 years. Looking forward to returning in early 2024.
