Christ the Teacher Academy

Christ the Teacher Academy is a Catholic Elementary School in Fort Lee, New Jersey located on the grounds of Madonna Parish.

The aim of Christ the Teacher Academy is to have its students experience a Christian education to prepare and develop their lives in the Roman Catholic tradition. As a school serving a variety of cultures and students of many faiths, the faculty and administration recognizes these differences. We communicate traditional Christian values and provide students with multi-cultural experiences and curr

iculum and attitudes that accept each person as a unique individual. We develop this idea through Christ’s teachings that “we are all God’s children”. We encourage active participation in the church and community services, not only by the student, but by his or her entire family; in so doing, each child will strengthen their love of God, of self and others.

Today, we pause to remember all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and we pray for their families and loved ones.

This morning, our students in Grades 5–8 gathered by the statue of the Blessed Mother to pray the Rosary for peace, healing, and strength. May Mary continue to watch over our students, families, and our nation.

“May their souls, and all the souls of the faithful departed, rest in peace. Amen.”

Happy First Day of School!

What an amazing first day at CTTA! Our students had a wonderful day filled with excitement, smiles, and new beginnings.

A special thank you to our fantastic faculty and staff for working so hard to make the first day extra special for our students and families. We are so grateful for all that you do!

It was also an exciting day as our parents and students had the opportunity to meet our new principal, Mrs. Lytle. We are so happy to welcome her to the CTTA family and look forward to a wonderful school year together!

Congratulations to Yara!
Yara was awarded a scholarship by the Elks for her beautiful essay on Americanism! We are so proud of her wonderful accomplishment. Our principal, Mrs. Lytle, was there to celebrate with Yara and her family as she received this well-deserved award. A special thank you to the Elks for recognizing Yara's outstanding essay and for supporting our students through this scholarship opportunity.

Welcome to CTTA!
We are excited to welcome our new principal, Mrs. Lauren Lytle, to the Christ the Teacher Academy family! We look forward to a wonderful school year filled with faith, learning, and many new memories together. Please join us in giving her a warm CTTA welcome!
