With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Uncle Floyd Vivino, a true New Jersey legend.

To the world, he was Uncle Floyd, the man who brought laughter, music, and unforgettable moments into so many homes for decades. He was kind, humble, funny, and always himself.

We were also incredibly blessed to have him perform at our Saint Rocco Feast for several years, where he brought the same joy, music, and personality to our community that so many grew up watching on television. Those performances will always be special memories for us and for everyone who was there.

He had a rare gift, the ability to make people feel joy without ever trying too hard. Whether you knew him from television, the Feast, or from the family table, you knew he had a good heart and a genuine soul.

Rest in peace, Uncle Floyd.
Your laughter and spirit will live on forever.

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord.

It marks the moment Jesus was revealed to the world and began His public ministry, a reminder of our own baptism and the call we all share to live with faith, humility, and purpose.

As the Christmas season comes to a close, we carry its message forward into the year ahead.

Grateful this Christmas

This season, we pause to give thanks for our families, our faith, and a community rooted in tradition and service.

To our volunteers, supporters, parish partners, and everyone who keeps the spirit of Saint Rocco alive, thank you. What we do is only possible because of you.

May this Christmas bring peace to your homes and joy to your hearts.

Christmas reminds us why Christ came

At the heart of Christmas is compassion, caring for the sick, the forgotten, and those in need. Saint Rocco lived this mission through his service, humility, and faith in God’s mercy.

As we prepare our homes and hearts for Christmas, may we be reminded that love is best shown through action, kindness, and sacrifice.

Saint Rocco, pray for us. 🙏

Today we had the honor of delivering toys to the children at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital in Hackensack, NJ.

Pictured here are Treasurer, Vincenzo Savoia and President, Domenico Tripodi alongside the incredible nurses who care for these children every day.

Thanks to the generosity of the parishioners of Madonna Church in Fort Lee, Genesis Preschool & Academy , the Fort Lee Rotary Club, and our amazing friends, family, and supporters, we were able to bring smiles, comfort, and joy to so many children and families.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing the true meaning of community.

A special thank you to Antonella, who stopped by today to donate toys for our annual toy drive.

It’s always inspiring to see young people lead with kindness and generosity. Your thoughtfulness will help bring smiles and comfort to children in need.

All toys donated this year are being given to the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital, continuing our mission of faith, family, and service to the community.

Thank you, Antonella, you truly made a difference today. 🙏🎁
