🗣️ TALK TUESDAY | WATCH YOUR WORDS

You can say you love Jesus and still make people question Him by the way you talk to them.

That one might sting a little—but let’s talk about it. 👀

The Bible says:

📖 “Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” — Colossians 4:6 KJV

Our Christian witness isn’t only seen in what we do. It’s heard in how we speak.

Our tone matters.
How we disagree matters.
How we speak when we’re frustrated matters.
How we talk about people when they aren’t in the room matters.
And yes—even what we type in the comments matters. 📱

Grace doesn’t mean we never speak truth. It means we don’t have to abandon the character of Christ while speaking it.

Start the Week in the Word.

📖 “Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report… think on these things.”
— Philippians 4:8 KJV

💭 TODAY’S MEDITATION
Everything that enters your mind does not deserve to stay there.

Before you carry worry, frustration, fear, or yesterday’s disappointment into a brand-new week, examine what you’ve been thinking about.

God’s Word teaches us that our thoughts need direction. Instead of allowing circumstances to determine the atmosphere of your mind, intentionally turn your thoughts toward what is true, pure, worthy, and consistent with God’s Word.

🎯 MONDAY CHALLENGE
When a negative thought shows up today, don’t simply entertain it. Stop and replace it with something God has said.

What thought do you need to stop carrying into this week?

Today, we honor the hands that build, serve, teach, protect, care, create, and make a difference in our communities every day.

As we enjoy this day of rest, we also remember that our work has purpose. Whatever God has placed in our hands to do, may we do it faithfully and wholeheartedly.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” — Colossians 3:23 KJV

I DON’T HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELIEVE GOD.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
— Hebrews 11:1 KJV

Faith doesn’t require you to have every answer.

Faith says, “God, I trust You even when I can’t see what You’re doing.”

You may not see the breakthrough yet.
You may not see the door opening yet.
You may not see how everything is going to work out.

But you can still trust the One who sees the end from the beginning.

Today, choose faith over what you see, what you feel, and what circumstances are saying.

🗣️ TALK TUESDAY | WHAT ARE THEY READING?

Today’s Talking Point:

“Out of 100 people, one will read the Bible. The other 99 will read the Christian.”

That gives us something to talk about.

Before someone ever opens a Bible, they may encounter you.

They may read how you treat people.
They may read how you respond when you’re angry.
They may read how you handle disappointment.
They may read how you treat people who can do nothing for you.
They may read your compassion, integrity, patience, forgiveness—and even your social media posts.

Jesus said, “Ye are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:14 KJV

Our lives will never replace the Word of God, but our lives can either point people toward the Word or push them away from it.
