Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the courage of our first responders and pray for all those whose lives were forever changed.

Heavenly Father, grant eternal rest to those who were lost, comfort their families and strengthen all who continue to carry the weight of that day. Help us choose compassion over division, unity over fear and love over hatred. May Your peace fill our hearts and our world.

This summer, junior Alyssa Blue took her ambition to Washington, D.C. and came back a leader. She was among over 30 Cardinal Gibbons students selected for the Georgetown Leadership Initiatives Summer Internship Program, where she immersed herself in the Medical Program and gained experiences no classroom could offer.
