Earlier this year we had the honor to be part of the inaugural Anchored in Hope – Gala for Life, where our own Area Director Lisa Williams joined Nicole Shanks, Executive Director of the Pregnancy Resource Center of Southwest Florida, for a night that reminded us exactly why this work matters.

With Dr. Ben & Candy Carson as the keynote speaker, the room was filled with hope, purpose, and a deep commitment to life. Proceeds from the evening went directly toward funding the Aspire Women's Clinic in Naples and Fort Myers — tangible, life-changing support for women in our community.

At NCF South Florida, moments like this are what Redefining Generosity and Reimagining Community look like in action. The Pregnancy Resource Center of Southwest Florida is a single charity fundholder with us, and watching them bring this vision to life is a true privilege.

What an incredible evening at Generosity of Love! ✨

Last weekend, our Palm Beach community gathered to celebrate the extraordinary power of generosity, and to hear from the remarkable Hammer, whose life story embodies what it means to live with open hands and a generous heart.

Through her work with the Hammered Heart Foundation, which supports women and children as they rebuild their lives after trauma, Dru reminded us that generosity isn't just about giving resources, it's about giving hope, restoration, and dignity.

This was an evening dedicated to inspiration and recognition, celebrating the people who choose to make a difference and exploring what's possible when generosity becomes a way of life.

At NCF South Florida, we've walked alongside faithful givers for over 20 years, helping them navigate the complicated landscape of charitable giving with creative solutions and tax-smart strategies. We've seen firsthand how generosity transforms lives, not just for those who receive, but for those who give.

Whether you're looking to maximize your charitable impact through our Giving Fund, explore non-cash giving strategies, or discover your calling through programs like Lifework South Florida or Convene, we're here to help you steward all that God has entrusted to you.

How will generosity change you?

CityLead SWFL is off to a strong start this spring.

Our January kickoff brought together 100+ leaders from across Southwest Florida to learn how to create effective movement in teams, businesses, and nonprofits. These photos capture the heart of the gathering—leaders connecting, collaborating, and building momentum for our region.

A key moment was hearing from Charlie Ruck (Potter Trinity, Luxury Home Advisor), pictured with Lisa Williams, Area Director of NCF South Florida’s SWFL office. Charlie shared the “why” behind their business: building relationships and sharing Christ while serving clients.

Powered by NCF South Florida and Ocean Church, CityLead SWFL is a monthly space to grow as leaders and work together for the good of Southwest Florida.

At NCF South Florida, our mission is to inspire biblical generosity and mobilize leaders for lasting Kingdom impact—and CityLead is one way we live that out.

Our next class is next week—we’d love to have you with us.

At our recent “Generations of Generosity” gathering in Southwest Florida, we were honored to hear from Jeff Rutt and his daughter about their family’s giving journey—and how NCF helped them steward generosity through a major business gift strategy.

Their story was a powerful reminder that generosity can be both deeply personal and highly practical: the Rutts worked with NCF to give 89% of their business to fuel charitable goals and build a lasting family legacy of care for others. Through that generosity, Jeff also founded HOPE International, which has been equipping families through Christ-centered economic empowerment since 1997.

At NCF, this reflects the heart of our mission: to mobilize resources by inspiring biblical generosity—helping families and business owners give wisely and impactfully, including through non-cash assets like business interests.

Three questions we left with:

• What do you want your family legacy to be?
• If you own a business, what would it look like to build generosity into the way you operate your business today?
• How can you share your story to inspire others in their generosity?

If you’re asking these kinds of questions and want an exploratory conversation, contact your local NCF South Florida office at NCFSouthFlorida.com.

What does it say about a life when an entire county names a day after your family?

We’re celebrating Rob Kornahrens, a treasured member of our NCF community, whose journey with us began years ago through Lifework South Florida. We’ve had the privilege of watching God shape Rob’s heart for faithful stewardship and bold generosity across South Florida.

January has been an extraordinary month for Rob and the Advanced Roofing family:

• January 2: Advanced Roofing officially became an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). A decision that allows employees to eventually own 100% of the company. Instead of selling to private equity, Rob chose to invest in the 750+ employees who helped build Advanced Roofing from a single pickup truck in 1983 into one of the nation’s leading contractors.

• January 22, 2026: Broward County Commissioner Steve Geller presented a proclamation naming the day “Rob Kornahrens Family Appreciation Day” in Broward County, recognizing decades of excellence, resilience, and community impact.

Advanced Roofing has given over $3 million to organizations including Sonrise Mission, Boys & Girls Clubs, Habitat for Humanity, and many more, reflecting a consistent commitment to serve others and strengthen the community.

Rob, thank you for living out generosity with humility and purpose. We’re honored to partner with you in making an eternal impact.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:21

Florida ranks 3rd in the nation for reported human trafficking cases.

Jon Stevenson and the team are working to meet this crisis with real solutions—bringing hope and healing to rescued survivors of s*x trafficking through Christ-centered care at their Collier County safe homes. To date, they’ve provided services for 39 rescued survivors.

NCF is honored to support ministries like this by helping generous givers, like you, give strategically.

Through a Single-Charity Fund, Path2Freedom supporters can give non-cash assets (like stock or real estate), give in a more tax-efficient way, and support long-term restoration.

We come alongside you so they can support ministries with confidence.
Your generosity. Their mission. Our partnership.

As we looking back on 2025, one of the moments that stands out is the ribbon-cutting for the Saints House Boys Home in Miami.

This boys home is more than a building, it’s a a safe and supportive space designed to guide young men aging out of foster care. These young adults too often have nowhere safe to go next.

This home was a direct response to a citywide study by and was generously gifted by the and to help bridge that gap.

The heart behind this work is Shavon Saint Preux, founder of Propelling Into Triumph. Her journey — from immigrating to the U.S., to entering foster care, to overcoming obstacles and earning her Master’s degree — has become a living reminder of what’s possible. Today, she’s helping ensure these young men receive mentorship, career guidance, and life skills that can break cycles of trauma and build long-term stability.

We’re grateful to have supported this effort and to stand alongside partners who are building up the next generation. We’re praying this home becomes a place of safety, growth, and new beginnings for every young man who walks through its doors.

Recently a few of our NCF South Florida givers from Palm Beach traveled to Jamaica to serve alongside Operation Blessing as part of the early response and assessment efforts following Hurricane Melissa.

These are guys who don’t just give—they go.

Their generosity goes beyond financial gifts as they step into the hard places, offer hope, and help lay the groundwork for long-term rebuilding efforts in 2026.

Led by Dr. Crandall and supported by operations lead Bill Harvey, this advance team is spending the week listening, learning, and serving on the ground to understand the greatest needs and how our community can make the most meaningful impact in the months ahead.

We’re grateful for every NCF giver who is redefining generosity and reimagining community—showing what it looks like when God’s people respond with both compassion and action.

Please continue praying for the team and join us in praying for the people of Jamaica as the recovery journey continues.

If you are interested in making a donation, or joining a future trip, reach out to our team and we'll guide you along the way.

Mark Oliver’s story shows what happens when faith and strategy work together.

After leaving a successful career to serve West Palm Beach’s most challenged neighborhoods, Mark and his wife Carol partnered with to make their giving go further.

They launched Faith-Full Homes—building not just houses, but hope and community.

As Mark says, “Everything we have is from God. Everything we do is in the joy of Jesus Christ.”

At NCF South Florida, we help you give wisely and maximize your impact.
