In 12 years of Trunk or Treat, we've never had to change the event for weather. This year, that record ends. In light of the heavy rain and storms forecast for late Saturday, we're moving Trunk or Treat to midday: 11am-1pm Saturday, October 17. There'll still be lots of cars for trunk or treating, four bounce houses to bounce, games to play, and burgers to eat.

In making this change, we need more volunteers. If you can help with set up, starting at 7:30am, and with the event at 11am, please email Pastor Monique, [email protected]

We love Trunk or Treat and can't wait to see you!

Jesus reminds us that while we live in this world, our deepest allegiance belongs to God. When we lead with love, mercy, and integrity, we reflect God’s heart in the way we treat one another.
Reflect: Where might you be holding tightly to being right when God is inviting you to respond with love and grace instead?
Pray: Gracious God, help us see beyond division and disagreement. Give us hearts that choose mercy over judgment, love over fear, and grace over resentment. Guide us to live in ways that honor you and reflect your love to everyone we meet. Amen.

God is holy, just, and full of mercy. When we experience God’s love, we are called to reflect that love by treating others with compassion, fairness, and grace.
Reflect Where might God be inviting you to let go of judgment and make room for mercy in the way you love others?
Pray Holy and loving God, thank you for your justice, mercy, and unfailing love. Soften our hearts, help us release what keeps us from loving freely, and guide us to treat every person with the grace you so generously give. Amen.

Faith grows when we let God’s love shape how we live and treat others. Even in difficult times, our love, hope, and compassion can shine as a reminder that grace is at work among us.

Pray Loving God, thank you for the faith and hope that sustain us. Help us let go of fear and selfishness so we can love others with open hearts. May our lives reflect your grace and bring hope to those who need it most. Amen.
