You felt it 👉🏼 that pull toward deeper theological education, toward ministry training. But then the math didn't work. Seminary meant leaving your church, your city, your family, your job. So you pushed it back another year. And then another.

Knox was built for people like you. Fully online. Fully accredited through the ATS. No relocation required. No choosing between your life and your calling.

Knox is a Top 20 theological seminary. Reformed. Affordable. Built around your context — not ours.

Don't push it back another year. It's time to take that next step. Visit KnoxSeminary.edu to explore programs!

“Can we afford not to?”

Robey Barnes, pastor of City Rev Church, Knox alumnus, and Vice Chairman of our Board, reminds us why theological education matters for the next generation.

At a time when many theological institutions are shrinking, Knox is continuing to grow, innovate, and equip leaders to teach the timeless truths of Scripture in faithful and accessible ways.

This weekend, we’re grateful to be with City Rev for Seminary Sunday — a day for churches to celebrate the importance of theological education and the work of equipping leaders for the Church.

We’re thankful for partners like City Rev who believe this work matters.

Come see us this weekend.

One freedom was purchased on a cross. Another has been defended on battlefields across generations. Both cost everything. Both deserve our deepest gratitude.

Today we honor those who gave their lives so others could live freely — and we remember the One whose sacrifice made the ultimate freedom possible.

From Knox Seminary, we are grateful.

We’re still thinking about Commencement!

Graduates from around the world — including New Zealand — gathered to celebrate the completion of certificates, master’s degrees, and Doctor of Ministry degrees.

Behind every graduate are thousands of miles, countless hours of study, faithful perseverance, and the support and sacrifice of families, churches, and communities who walked alongside them.

We honor the work, the calling, and the faithfulness represented in this class.

Congratulations to Knox Theological Seminary’s 34th graduating class.

May the Lord continue to use you to declare and demonstrate the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Don’t take our word for it...

This is real feedback from a Knox student in Dr. Lamerson’s Hermeneutics course this spring. ☝

This is theological education for real ministry.

Students are not stepping away from their calling to study. They are being equipped within it — applying what they learn to the people and places God has entrusted to them.

Are you ready to take the next step?

“We’re not the ones ministering directly to the church. Our job at Knox is to equip you to do the work of ministry to the church.” - Dr. Tim Sansbury

These 30 graduates have successfully completed all of the requirements for their certificate, masters and doctoral programs. It was a joy to walk alongside you during your time as a student at Knox.

Congratulations to our 34th graduating class!

Hannah rejoiced in the Lord’s salvation.
Hagar called Him El Roi, the God who sees.
Rebekah brought her questions before God.
Elizabeth blessed in faith.
Mary magnified the Lord in praise.

These mothers prayed, and God heard them.

Today, we give thanks for the mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, teachers, and mentors who have prayed for us, blessed us, taught us, and pointed us to the Lord.

Happy Mother’s Day from Knox Theological Seminary.

This past weekend, we had the joy of joining Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church for Seminary Sunday.

Coral Ridge is the place where Knox was founded 37 years ago, born from Dr. D. James Kennedy’s vision to equip leaders for the work of ministry and help carry the transforming truth of Jesus Christ to the world.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share more about that vision, our partnership with CRPC, and why theological education still matters deeply for the Church today.

Thank you to Pastor Rob Pacienza and the Coral Ridge family for welcoming us so warmly.

The mission continues — equipping leaders to declare and demonstrate the gospel of Jesus Christ.

P.S. Want to host a Seminary Sunday at your church? DM us for details.

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, 🍎📚🖊 and we’re grateful to celebrate one of our adjunct professors, Dr. Mark Witwer!

ACSI has just released his new book, Teaching Christianly: A Brief Introduction for Teachers.

His book was intentionally written to be accessible for busy teachers, school leaders, homeschooling parents, and those new to Christian education. Dr. Witwer describes it as a practical introduction to the ways a teacher’s faith can inform academic instruction.

His hope is that it will help lay a foundation for teachers who want to think more carefully about what it means to teach Christianly — allowing faith to shape not only what they teach, but how they teach.

Dr. Witwer is also presenting a short faith-and-learning webinar with Faria Education Group on April 7. You can register or sign up to receive the recording here:

We’re thankful for Dr. Witwer and for the many teachers faithfully serving students with wisdom, care, and conviction.

What if churches didn’t have to lose emerging leaders in order to see them trained?

For years, theological education often meant leaving a local church, moving away, and stepping out of ministry context.

But seminary is changing.

In this reflection, Dr. Timothy Sansbury explores how churches can help form future leaders right where they are — rooted in local ministry, supported by theological education, and equipped for faithful service.

This is not just a new model for seminary.
It is an opportunity for the Church.
