Thought for the day: Don't ever forget: some contagious things, like faith, are worth catching. In Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.

Men of Valor, here is today's prayer...

Dear Father in Heaven, In Your loving fatherly way and through the instruction of Your Word, You warn me of things that can harm me personally, things that may destroy my testimony for You, and things are against Your perfect will and plan. The world is full of temptations, some that subtly draw people in if they are not alert. Satan would like no more than to pull down Christians and trample our testimony before the world, making us a stumbling stone for others who do not trust You or believe in You. I pray for wisdom in the choices I make and strength for doing what is right. Thank you for hearing me and for helping me each and every day. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Our focus in this study unit is on how we as believers should view the world from our own personal perspective. Tomorrow's lesson helps us to clearly SEE that the resurrection of Jesus is foundational to Christian living and a sound biblical worldview. What Matters Most? Background Passage: 1 Corinthians 15:1-58. Wishing you all a blessed Resurrection Sunday!

So what does godly authority look like in the home and in the church? Being subject to one another in marriage and the home is an imitation of Christ and an honor to God's authority. UNIT 1, LESSON 3; At Home with God's Authority; Background Passage: Ephesians 5:21-6:4. And a church under God's authority has laid its foundation upon Jesus Christ, which ultimately develops believers who are called to build the church through faithful ministry. UNIT 1, LESSON 4; A Church Under God's Authority; Background Passage: 1 Corinthians 3.

Tomorrow we will cover both Lessons 3 and 4.

God Bless,

Chuck
