Our Story

While browsing in the Christian Bookstore, the Lazares’ came upon a beautiful painting with the scripture John 8:12 scripted on the bottom. This painting was particularly interesting to them both, but Bishop Clark seemed to be even more intrigued and couldn’t stop talking about it. They decided not to get the painting because it was too expensive. About two months later, Pastor Diane went back to the bookstore to find the painting was still available. She purchased the painting as a gift for Bishop Clark; little did they know the painting had prophetic implications for the ministry they were about to bring forth. It would be approximately three years later when the Lazares would be installed as the Lead Pastors of the newly incorporated “Light of Life” Worship Center. With the purchase of our 1st ministry facility in 2015, we were led to change the name of the ministry with hopes of reflecting our truest ministry purpose. Hence, our ministry name became The Light Center.
