Felicity stepping onto a ministry team at church today 🙂

FATHERHOOD HACK:

Having done youth ministry for a minute, the students who find a place to SERVE (not just attend) in the church are the ones who generally go to college and stay faithful

Couple things going on here:

I) Daughter does something she loves at church, which makes her love church even more

2) It pulls kids out of the world of kids (a world of immaturity and foolishness) and into the world of mature Christian adults who love her and she looks up to

3) She begins to own her faith, bc now she's helping transfer it to other ppl

4) She begins to learn the blessing of SERVING is greater than the blessing of BEING SERVED

5) It's now a big deal to miss a weekend, bc she feels NEEDED
