BUT WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM?” Matthew 16:15 🔥

Take a few minutes and listen to this powerful portion of the Word brought forth by Pastor Samantha Smith.

The AC may have gone out, and we may have had to take service outside under the tree but nothing was going to stop the Word from going forth and nothing was going to stop our praise!

Buildings don’t make the Church we are the Church. Circumstances may change, but Jesus remains the same!

So today, the question becomes personal: WHO DO YOU SAY HE IS🔥

THE AC WENT OUT… BUT GOD STILL HAD A WORD!

Today our AC went out at church. We could have canceled service, packed everything up, and gone home. But the Holy Spirit led us to take the service outside under the tree.

And we did exactly that. We brought out the chairs, the microphone, and everything we needed and we had church under the tree!

And look at the Word God gave us today:

“But whom say ye that I am Matthew 16:15

Jesus asked His disciples what everybody else was saying about Him. Some called Him John the Baptist. Some Elijah. Some Jeremiah. Others said He was one of the prophets.

But then Jesus changed the question: “BUT WHO DO YOU SAY I AM

In other words, forget for a moment what everybody else calls Me. Who am I to YOU

Is He only the God you worship when everything is comfortable?
Is He only God when the AC is working, the building feels good, and everything goes according to plan

Or is He still God under a tree

Today our answer was clear:
YOU ARE STILL GOD!
In the sanctuary You are God.
Outside You are God.
In the heat You are God.
When plans change You are God.
When things don’t go the way we expected YOU ARE STILL GOD!

We didn’t need perfect conditions to give Him perfect praise.

Today wasn’t just church outside. It became a demonstration of the Word: WHO DO YOU SAY HE IS?
