On Sunday, Manna Church Fort Knox served at the annual Tools for School outreach at the Bluegrass Sportsplex. With a team of 33 to unload school supplies and help set them up for families, we were done in no time. Such a great turnout for this valuable ministry in Hardin County!

This past Sunday, July 19, we resumed in-person services followed by a fellowship luncheon. Manna Fort Knox was thrilled to welcome two TDY soldiers who will be worshiping with us through the summer, as well as a Cru missionary guest who shared about his upcoming missions trip. On Saturday, our Serve Team met at Brandenburg Outreach- Adult and Teen Challenge to prepare, serve, and share breakfast with the lovely residents. The red shirt mafia brought the love of Jesus with no strings attached, cooked up in bacon, eggs, and cinnamon rolls. We pray healing and deliverance for those caught in chains of addiction. May they find joy and freedom in knowing Christ!

From North Carolina to the world, Manna Church is on a God-sized mission: to plant a church near every U.S. military base on the planet. With more than 273 bases, this vision isn’t just ambitious, it’s entirely dependent on God’s guidance.

Pastor Christopher Fletcher shared with CBN News how the church’s goal was born after more than 1,100 military members transferred in a single year. “God gave my dad a vision…to reach military families wherever they are,” he said. “It’s terrifying, it’s massive, but it’s God-sized.”

With 33 churches already serving military communities, Manna Church ensures continuity and spiritual support for those constantly relocating. Army Reservist 1st Lt. Todd Capen explained, “Military families don’t have to search for a church, they can plug into a familiar network wherever they move.”

For military children and families, these churches provide more than Sunday services, they offer stability, community, and spiritual nourishment amid frequent deployments. CW3 Sabrina Bentley-Thompson, a retired Army veteran, said, “It’s amazing…knowing your church family will be there wherever you are.”

Manna Church isn’t just planting buildings; it’s planting faith, hope, and continuity in the lives of those serving the nation.

Last Saturday, we gave away free lemonade to patrons of the Fort Knox PX on a hot afternoon, no strings attached. This weekend, we enjoyed a refreshing visit with Pastor Shawn Withy-Allen from Manna Church Hawaii, who shared excellent teaching about resetting our mindset. We were filled up and blessed to continue shining a light for Jesus in our community!
